There’s a whole lot of good TV on tonight, but what’s really intriguing me is 90210’s use of a hashtag in their title for tonight’s hour. Apparently this is a thing now!
Take a look at all of your options for tonight’s shows…
Bones | 8pm on Fox
“The Shot in the Dark”
When Brennan (Emily Deschanel) is shot while working late at the Jeffersonian lab, she is rushed to the hospital in critical condition. While at the hospital, she struggles with visions of her mother that defy her usual logic. Meanwhile all evidence suggests that Brennan’s attacker may be linked to the Jeffersonian. [And we have photos, teases, and Emily Deschanel previewing what’s to come!]
How I Met Your Mother | 8pm on CBS
“Bad Crazy”
Ted is reluctant to break up with his crazy girlfriend Jeanette. Meanwhile, Robin becomes attached to Marvin after finally holding him for the first time.
The Carrie Diaries | 8pm on The CW
“Dangerous Territory”
Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) runs into an old friend at her internship and gets invited to his mother’s dinner soiree in Manhattan, but her feelings for Sebastian (Austin Butler) get in her way, until she see him with another girl. Mouse (Ellen Wong) is excited about getting back together with Seth (guest star Kyle Harris), but her worries about being bad at sex drive her to ask Walt (Brendan Dooling) for help. In order to hang on to a favorite spot at the diner, Maggie (Katie Findlay) takes on Donna LaDonna (Chloe Bridges) and her friends. Meanwhile, Tom (Matt Letscher) loses his wedding ring, which makes him realize that Harlan (guest star Scott Cohen) might be right about starting to date again.
The Bachelor | 8pm on ABC
“Episode 1707”
The pressure mounts as the crucial hometown dates loom, but before returning stateside, Sean takes the remaining six bachelorettes to romantic St. Croix. AshLee not only risks revealing a secret about her past, but also decides to go on the attack when it comes to Tierra. Tierra, feeling anxious about her relationship with Sean and how the drama with the other women will influence his decision, desperately discloses something that will shock him. Lesley’s individual date has her re-thinking her strategy. Sean, confused over whom he should send home, invites his sister to St. Croix to help him sort through his feelings. A huge drama erupts at the hotel and Sean knows what he must do, dropping two bombshells and leaving the four women who will take him home to meet his families.
The Biggest Loser | 8pm on NBC
“Tough Love”
It’s halfway through the competition, and the remaining eight players go to singles this week. The contestants face their first temptation in honor of Valentine’s Day, featuring favorite Valentine’s Day treats and the promise of the winner getting a weigh-in-advantage for themselves and a friend. Meanwhile, the trainers continue to motivate the kid participants to stay active and work toward their goals at home. Jillian arranges for Sunny to take a Bollywood dance class, Dolvett motivates Lindsay to attend a cheerleading practice, and Biingo anxiously waits for news from the doctor about whether he’ll be able to start practicing for the youth baseball league tryouts that Bob set up for him. Back at the ranch, one player displays an amazing act of kindness, and another has an emotional, heart to heart talk with a trainer about the circumstances leading to his weight gain. Later, a racing challenge leads to two players winning heartwarming reunions with loved ones, and in this week’s Challenge America segment, Season 11 winner Olivia Ward and her husband share a healthy way that couples can celebrate Valentine’s Day. And finally, the elimination following the weigh-in forces one contestant to make their most difficult choice yet at the ranch.
Rules of Engagement | 8:30pm on CBS
“Taking Names”
Jeff and Audrey ask Russell to provide a list of the names of women he has slept with so they can avoid using that name for their baby. Meanwhile, Adam humiliates himself after he spends a lot of money on a new bicycle and gear.
So much more. Keep reading…

ONCE UPON A TIME: Colin O’Donoghue and Edward Kitsis on the Appeal of Hook

Filed under #1 featured, Once Upon A Time
ONCE UPON A TIME has introduced a whole batch of new characters since the show premiered in 2011, but few have prompted quite the reaction that Colin O’Donoghue’s Hook has.
“I’ve been on Twitter a lot and I knew they teased the character [at Comic-Con],” Donoghue told reporters on the Vancouver set late last year. “So that was a thing I was very aware of when my first episode was coming out, because obviously I knew there was an expectation there. I hope the fans aren’t disappointed with Hook and the way he’s been portrayed.”

ARROW is adding to its cast: a rep for Warner Bros. confirms that Chin Han (LAST RESORT) has landed a recurring role on the CW freshman breakout series.
According to Deadline (who was first to break the casting news), Han will play Frank Chen, “a successful businessman and old friend of the Queen family”…who also has ties to The Undertaking, AKA the secretive group that Malcom Merlyn is in charge of. Wonder if he’ll be a friend or foe to Oliver?
Han is set to make his ARROW debut in the season’s 15th episode, “Dodger,” which will air Wednesday, February 20th.

Comments Off on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES: Danielle Campbell Cast in THE ORIGINALS Backdoor Pilot
THE ORIGINALS — the potential spinoff of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES — has cast another witch: sources confirm that Danielle Campbell has landed a role in the backdoor pilot that is set to debut as an April episode of The CW hit.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Campbell will play Davina, whose “innocence about the way the world works makes her equal parts wondrous and dangerous. She’s delicate and ethereal but not without her own demons.”
Joining Campbell in the potential spinoff are THE VAMPIRE DIARIES stars Joseph Morgan (Klaus), Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley), and Daniel Gillies (Elijah), as well as TVD newbies Charles Michael Davis (Marcel) and Daniella Pineda (Sophie).

Last time I spoke with CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe, he admitted he was “just starting to think about” the upcoming episode 100 (which is set to air in spring). So when he and I chatted earlier today — and since he and his wife/fellow writer Terri Edda Miller are currently hard at work on the episode — I couldn’t resist digging to see what they had landed on for the big milestone.

It’s almost time to say goodbye to the Dunder-Mifflin gang: NBC has announced that the one-hour THE OFFICE series finale will air on Thursday, May 16th.
In addition to that being the series finale, the occasion will also mark the comedy’s 200th episode. Feels kind of nice for it to be ending on such a milestone, doesn’t it?
Are you looking forward to seeing what the end of THE OFFICE brings?
