March 25, 2013 by Marisa Roffman
Bring on the wine: TBS has officially renewed COUGAR TOWN for a fifth season!
“Cougar Town has been everything we hoped it would be: a smart, big-hearted, laugh-out-loud comedy that shines a bright light on the TBS brand,” said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) in a statement. “This season, the brilliant cast and immensely creative production team on Cougar Town have crafted their best episodes yet, and we couldn’t be happier inviting them back for more.”
The show’s fifth season will consist of 13 episodes (down two from this season’s 15 installments) and is tentatively set to debut in 2014.

Cougar Town has been everything I’ve hoped it would be as well, it’s one of my favorite comedies, so I’m excited to hear it’s been renewed for a fith season. I’m looking forward to see what new adventures happen on the show. I never miss an episode even though I’m at work at DISH when it airs. My family and I set up our DISH Hopper to record up to six primetime shows at once, during primetime. This way, there are never any timer conflicts.
