The CW Pulls CULT
April 10, 2013 by Marisa Roffman
The CW has pulled CULT from its schedule.
The very meta series was originally demoted from its Tuesday slot to Fridays at 9, and now revised listings for the next three weeks of CW programming show that the network has opted to replace the original CULT episodes that were set to air this month with reruns of THE CARRIE DIARIES and OH SIT!
The move leaves multiple episodes of CULT unaired. I reached out to reps for the show to see if the episodes will be burned off at another time (or put online), so if there’s any word on that, I’ll be sure to update you guys.
Are you bummed CULT was pulled?

It’s really disappointing, though not disappointing to find out that Cult has been cancelled by The CW. The casting was great, and I felt like there was a lot of potential in the plot, but I understand that it wasn’t going to work without better ratings. Unfortunately I haven’t watched every episode of Cult yet because my job at DISH has been keeping me pretty busy most nights. Thankfully I have the series recorded to my DISH Hopper so I can watch, or re-watch, the show long after it’s off the air. Since my Hopper can store over 400 hours of content in high definition; I won’t have to think about deleting the show just to make room for my family’s favorites next week.
