THE FOLLOWING has taken viewers on one delightfully twisted journey of cat-and-mouse over the show’s first season, and the first book of the tale is set to conclude this Monday with the first season finale.
I spoke with THE FOLLOWING star James Purefoy (Joe) about what fans can expect in the finale, the scope of Joe’s reach, the master plan getting derailed, and why even he doesn’t know exactly what’s going to happen in the season finale…

The BONES characters have had a rough go of it lately, but things had been fairly quiet on the Pelant front over the last few months…until this Monday’s season finale.
I spoke with BONES executive producer Stephen Nathan to see what he could tease about why Pelant’s return is so much more dangerous now, what that means for our guys, and a little season 9 talk…
NBC Renews REVOLUTION, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, CHICAGO FIRE, GRIMM, and PARENTHOOD

NBC has offered up a few early renewals for its returning shows: REVOLUTION, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT, CHICAGO FIRE, GRIMM, and PARENTHOOD. (The latter of which earned a 22-episode season after two seasons of having a diminished order.)
While none of those renewals are particularly surprising, it’s (slightly) noteworthy no comedies are among the early renewals.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES: Julie Plec Teases THE ORIGINALS Backdoor Spinoff, Potential Crossovers, and More

Filed under #1 featured, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries
About three and a half months after the idea was first made public, THE ORIGINALS, the backdoor pilot for a potential THE VAMPIRE DIARIES spinoff, is finally airing tomorrow night.
“Klaus has gotten wind of witches in New Orleans making a move against him and of course he doesn’t like that, and is especially paranoid because of all the Silas shenanigans, and so he heads off to get to the bottom of that mystery,” THE VAMPIRE DIARIES executive producer Julie Plec teased of what kicks off the episode. “And Elijah, believing his brother to be up to something, follows him to try and get to the bottom of that mystery. And as the brothers are in New Orleans, we see they have a deep, rich history there. In fact, all the Original family, which at the time was Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, and Kol, lived there off and on for several centuries and were part of the original founders of New Orleans; [they] laid the original bricks of the French Quarter. They have a history there, and as Elijah says at the end of the episode, ‘I can count on one hand the amount of times we were happy as a family and that was one of them.'”
Of course, things aren’t entirely smooth in New Orleans.

Given the pace of ARROW season 1 so far, would you really be shocked to find out the final four episodes of the show’s freshman year are going to be jam-packed with story goodness? By all accounts, these final episodes will be some of the best ones the show has produced so far.
And even better, when Stephen Amell (Oliver) sat down with reporters yesterday, he teased that some seeds are planted in these final episodes for things that will be paid off in season 2.
Take a look at what Amell had to say about the final hours of season 1, Oliver’s relationships with Laurel, Tommy, and Roy, and more…
