NBC Pulls a HANNIBAL Episode

Comments Off on NBC Pulls a HANNIBAL Episode
NBC has opted to not air episode four of HANNIBAL, a rep for the show confirms. Instead, the series will proceed with episode five and air the rest of the episodes in order from there. (Variety was the first to break the news.)
The fourth episode of the series was set to guest star Molly Shannon playing a character who brainwashed children to kill other children. Given the recent events — including the December shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School — all involved with the show felt it was best to not air this episode now.

Comments Off on Fox Renews GLEE for Season 5 and 6
Well, here’s something to sing about GLEE fans: Fox has picked up the series for season 5…and season 6!
“GLEE debuted as the first and only successful musical comedy series on television, and more than four years later, it continues to defy genres, break new ground and have a significant impact on popular culture,” said Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company in a statement. “Week in and week out, Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan, Dante DiLoreto and the entire GLEE team deliver a series that not only delights and surprises fans, but also inspires them to talk about, share, debate and engage with the show – and I’m absolutely thrilled to have them on board for another two seasons.”

We’re in the middle of another ARROW hiatus, but the end is near: The CW hit will return on Wednesday, April 24th with the first of four brand new episodes. Making it even more tense/exciting? They’re the final four episodes of ARROW’s first season!
I had the chance to sit down with ARROW fan-favorite Emily Bett Rickards (Felicity) earlier this week, and during our chat, she teased a bit about the tension coming for the trio of Oliver/Diggle/Felicity, and dished on having to say those “subconscious blurts.”

ABC Pushes Back CASTLE’s Bomb-Centric ‘Still,’ Moves Up ‘The Squab and the Quail’

Comments Off on ABC Pushes Back CASTLE’s Bomb-Centric ‘Still,’ Moves Up ‘The Squab and the Quail’
ABC has opted to shift CASTLE’s airing schedule in light of recent events: an ABC rep confirms that “Still” — the bomb-centric episode that will put Beckett’s life in danger — which was originally set to air next Monday, will now air on April 29th. The previously scheduled episode for that date, “The Squab and the Quail,” will now air this Monday, April 22nd.
While it’s never ideal when episodes don’t air in the intended order, “Still” was already airing technically out of order because it was filmed as the extra episode ABC ordered late into the season’s run.
Are you okay with ABC pushing back “Still”?

Will THE CLEVELAND SHOW End This Season?

Comments Off on Will THE CLEVELAND SHOW End This Season?
THE CLEVELAND SHOW’s time may be coming to an end: a report from The Animation Guild Blog says the series has been canceled. (A rep for Fox stated no decision has been reached.)
If Fox does decide to give THE CLEVELAND SHOW a fifth season, it could be a while before viewers actually see the series on television. Given the long production demands for animated shows, even if the show was to return, it would likely not be able to start the season until early 2014 at the earliest.
Are you hoping Fox renews THE CLEVELAND SHOW? Or are you hoping Cleveland might move his family back to FAMILY GUY’s Quahog (where the character of Cleveland originated)?
