DEXTER: Yvonne Strahovski Set to Return

Comments Off on DEXTER: Yvonne Strahovski Set to Return
It seems DEXTER isn’t quite done with Hannah yet: a rep for the show confirms that Yvonne Strahovski (Hannah) will return for multiple episodes of the upcoming eighth season. EW was first to report the news.
With DEXTER’s next season rumored to be its last (though nothing has officially been confirmed), it’ll be very interesting to see how Hannah works back into the show. After all, she a) was Dexter’s last love interest, b) knew his secret, c) was threatened by Deb, and d) a serial killer, too. Just a wild guess, but I’d imagine she won’t be back to walk into the sunset with Dex.
Are you excited Strahovski will return to DEXTER?

The CW Pulls CULT
April 10, 2013 by Marisa Roffman
The CW has pulled CULT from its schedule.
The very meta series was originally demoted from its Tuesday slot to Fridays at 9, and now revised listings for the next three weeks of CW programming show that the network has opted to replace the original CULT episodes that were set to air this month with reruns of THE CARRIE DIARIES and OH SIT!
The move leaves multiple episodes of CULT unaired. I reached out to reps for the show to see if the episodes will be burned off at another time (or put online), so if there’s any word on that, I’ll be sure to update you guys.
Are you bummed CULT was pulled?

SCANDAL has nabbed yet another awesome guest star: ABC has confirmed that TORCHWOOD star (and current ARROW big bad) John Barrowman will appear in an upcoming episode.
While details of his role are being kept on the down low for now, SCANDAL creator Shonda Rhimes tweeted her joy about the casting earlier this afternoon: “John Barrowman is here working at @ScandalABC today. Life is good. #torchwood #captainjack #iamanerd”
Barrowman is set to appear in the May 9th episode of SCANDAL.
I mean…how great is this casting?!

ELEMENTARY Casts Natalie Dormer as Irene Adler

Comments Off on ELEMENTARY Casts Natalie Dormer as Irene Adler
ELEMENTARY has found its Irene Adler: CBS has announced in a press release that GAME OF THRONES actress Natalie Dormer will join the series for a three-episode arc starting May 9th.
“We’re moving to the next chapter in our show – and in some ways, to a previous chapter in Holmes’ story,” said creator Rob Doherty in a statement. “Irene Adler is perhaps the most pivotal relationship in Sherlock’s life, and I can’t think of an actress better suited to the challenge than Natalie.”
As you’ll recall, it was Irene’s death (at the hands of the as-yet-unseen Moriarty) that sent Sherlock spiraling into a drug addition.
Are you excited to see what Irene’s in-the-flesh arrival will mean for the series?
