THE VOICE: Carson Daly on Live Show Snafus and the Coach Shuffle

On live television you never quite know what will happen — and THE VOICE has had its share of memorable incidents in the past couple of weeks.

After having voting irregularities during the first week of this season’s fan-voting section of the competition, last week’s live performance show was thrown for a loop when the air conditioning went out on the soundstage…and, as THE VOICE host Carson Daly told the audience, there was a slight risk things could overheat and the show would go dark. (The joys of live television…anything could happen.)

Daly — no stranger to live television between his time on the NBC singing competition and as the host of the MTV series TRL — talked with reporters after last week’s results show about how he handles those mishaps, the coaching situation, and more…
