Sam! Dean pretends he’s suppressing, but he doesn’t really do that. He’s got a huge support group that helps him out. Sam hardly talks about himself, his feelings, his traumas, not even with Dean. Sam needs someone he can talk to who won’t judge him and might offer good advice.
Also, Sam was in the Cage being tortured by Lucifer and Michael for nearly 2 years (nearly 200 years in hell then), and…… it was reduced to a few brushed off hand rubs. That drove ME crazy, so I can’t imagine how Sam would feel being that suppressed.
Debra. Obviously that therapy she was going to because she almost married a serial killer (which turned out to be Dexter’s brother), and her boyfriends were murdered, and her being in love with her brother Dexter is NOT ENOUGH. Not when she’s now not only covering up for Dexter, she’s a killer herself! :O
as much as I am utterly obsessed with my favorite show, Supernatural, I had to choose Will Graham from Hannibal. poor baby graham cracker :'(
As much as I love Supernatural, you really can’t ignore a show that had an entire competition to showcase the best fan-made “Help Will Graham” posters. The poor guy. And the worst thing is he IS getting therapy, that’s the problem.
My vote without a doubt goes to Sam Winchester. His time in the Cage being tortured by Lucifer and Michael ( I would think he got some torture of his own on Sam for dragging him down) warrants a life time of therapy. Even though he had a “breakdown” and his hallucinations were magically cured I do not doubt that Sam is still “messed up” especially hearing his confession to Dean in the finale of Sacrifice. Sam is broken on the inside.
@Penny I liked your comment and you brought up some great points also about why Sam is in need of therapy.
if someone needs therapy that’s dean, lost his mother at age of 4, his father trained him like a soldier imidiately after & he insisted that dean should take care of his brother, leaving completely out what dean wanted & needed for himself, letting him be mother, father, brother, soldier all at once & start hunting since he was still a kid. then a domino effect starts, sam leaves him to deal with his father which disapears, only to return to be lost again cause he stroke a deal to save dean which lets him with more abandonment issues & guilt, which leads him to strike a deal to save sam & end up in hell, where he was tortured & torture, then return to a sam who lied to him constantly, betray him & almost killed him. then to be manipulated by the angels & pushed around like a puppet forced with the responsabillity to save the world by himself. then sam had the brilliant idea to say yes to lucifer when he insisted that dean should not say yes to michael, which let dean to lose cas bobby & sam all at once, only to come back imediately after, sam being souless & lying to him (again) & almost got him killed (again). then have to deal with souless sam, cas who turn out to work with crowley, with result to lose cas & bobby (again), then had to deal with a halucinating sam, a returned crazy cas, a ghost bobby & find a way to kill dick, only to end up in purgatory with cas who vanish, then found, only to stay back so only to think he lost him again, so dean returned with pstd to a sam who did’nt look for him (1 more betrayal), to deal with the demon tab & the return of cas who left again, then had to kill benny, come through a brainwashed cas, sam’s trial disseace, to end up have to deal with falling angels, ”pain” sam who throw all the responsabillity to him for his own mistakes (once again) & a human cas, & all that while he still heavilly drinks & propably takes pills too due to all the stushed unresolved personal issues. the question is how the hell he walks & talks with pstd from both hell & purgatory, abandonment issues, the constant betrayals & all the people he lost? do you still doubt he is the one who needs therapy pronto?
I’d vote for Sam and Dean but they seem to be holding it together pretty well . Will Graham desperately needs a non homicidal psychiatrist. Seriously, if you didn’t vote for him you’ve probably never seen the show. It’s also sad that Will is not from a show like Supernatural, all his demons coming from his own head (not to mention the one person who is supposed to be improving his mental state is basically crushing it).
It was a hard choice between Sam and Dean, but I went for Dean. Poor babies, all of them…..
I’m a huge supernatural fan but jesus christ will graham
Hard choice. They all need therapy.
I don’t even watch Hanniable and I know that choosing between Team Free Will and Will is extremely difficult
Therapy is what got Will into this mess in the first place.
I pick Dean, but I really don’t like choosing between Dean and Sam.
Dean, no doubt. I see a lot of people said Sam but I think Sam is a lot more open and aware of his mental state than Dean is. Dean swallows it down and swallows it down and doesn’t ever get to deal with his own issues, because he’s always so busy taking care of everyone else. I wish I could just take Dean away from the show for a little while, make him soup and a piece of pie, wrap him up in blankets and let him have a week off and /then/ pay for his therapy! jk jk
No but on a serious note again; Dean would really need it. He puts on his armor, the mask he wears plastered to his face is pretty much integrated with him by this point, and on top of it all, he’s built a wall around himself. We get a peek between the cracks, and he’s dangerously close to collapsing.
I can’t even begin to list all the crap he’s been through, I would be sitting here all night to be honest, but the boy’s been through enough. This next season, I’d like to see him actually get to deal with some of this, his drinking issues, the ptsd, the endless trauma etc. And I want him to be happy!
