It’s time to vote for the GMMR TV Awards!
Give Me My Remote readers sent in their top nominations for nearly 30 different categories, and now it’s time for you to choose your top pick! Most of the categories have five nominees, but due to ties, the number can vary. (And, as a reminder, each category can only have two nominees per show, so only the top two vote-getters moved forward.)

EMILY!
Most def Stana Katic. She’s just remarkable actress.
Emily Deschanel is OBVIOUSLY the best!!! It’s not easy playing someone who is completely different from who you are – more so since the character has progressed SO MUCH in the last 8 years. Her emotions and facial expressions in the season 8 finale clinched it for me 😉 Emily Deschanel ftw!!!
Stana Katic and nobody else.
I think Emily is great, but her character is all over the place. It’s not her fault – it’s in the writing. FYI, Stana Katic is also very different from Kate Beckett. They look alike – that’s about it. Speech patterns, world views, even her laugh is different! Beckett’s progressions and changes have been well written and Stana has been able to run with it. Also, Stana can convey a dozen emotions without saying a word. She’s the queen of facial expressions. 🙂
Stana <3
Stana – Always!
Stana, of course! She’s a excellent actress!
Anna!!! Always Anna!!!!
Definitely Stana. It can’t be easy to portray a characterlike Beckett, starting with the way she talks being so different from how Stana does. Stana is also very fun and exciting. And while Beckett is fun, she also has this serious side (not saying that Stana doesn’t), her tragedy and everyting influencing who she is. Add that to the fact that this show revolves around a lot of subtext and, Stana’s character, especially in the beginning, is very private, while wearing her heart on her sleeve through her facial expressions, particularly her eyes, all while simultaneously trying to hide it. Then there’s the flirty side that Beckett has and can instantly switch to from her more serious side. Not to mention her loving, emotional, bitchy and consistently strong sides. It just can’t be too easy to portray her.
Anna Torv.
Anna Torv is great and Olivia Dunham a wonderful heroine. 😀
Emily Deschanel. Without a doubt.
