BONES: Hart Hanson on Sweets’ Season 9 Turmoil

Before BONES concluded its eighth season, executive producer Stephen Nathan was already teasing that Sweets would be going through some turmoil in season 9.
At Comic-Con last week, BONES creator Hart Hanson expanded a bit on the troubles the shrink will face when the show resumes for the new year…

Really, well, this killed my interest in the first “half dozen”or so eps. ugh

Wow! HH loves the Sweets character. What a shock.
Perhaps a 10 episode arc about how Sweets is dealing with the Pelant issues. Excuse me, but what show has this become? Doesn’t seem like there’s any real growth or impact from the other characters beyond they’re mad at Booth, but for Sweets we get to see how emotionally shaken he is by this. Let’s just please kill Pelant so we can all move on.
I don’t watch Bones so I can see Sweets and his issues front and center.

I don’t care about Sweets and his guilt, he’s been nothing but a meddling fool since day 1. Another season of Sweets drama, why, aren’t there any other characters besides, our beloved leads, and Sweets? Wrecked my interests, thanks a lot HH. Hope the gang leaders take him and us out of our misery and off him.
Oh my, when you were teasing us on how mean you could be in season 9, I didn’t take it to mean you would be torturing us with 1/2 a year of Sweets again. I guess I should know better by now. 🙁
I don’t care about Sweets. The fanboy obsession that hart hanson has with the actor and the character makes me want to vomit and scream what about the other supporting characters and actors you idiot…as far as I am concerned Pelant should of killed Sweets…thank goodness that i KNOW that there are new castings to give Booth and B&B some character development or I would switch off big time…

Oy, here we go again. Didn’t need HH to say Sweets is his favorite character considering the boy shrink is apparently smarter that Brennan, Zach, & Hodgins, considering how his skill set keeps expanding–oh, he know this, he can teach selling techniques to car salesmen, hypnosis, facial recognition & lie detection, neuro-linguistic programming, etc, ad nauseum. Not very enthused about the upcoming season, sensing a return to the train wreck that was most of S4 and the end of S5 through most of S6 (100th through the departure of Hannah). Which is when the show lost me.
People need to leave Sweets alone. He made Bones more entertaining!
If you don’t like the sweets stop watching the show or just keep it to your self.
Haters gonna hate. Sweets is 100 percent of what I love about Bones.
In case anyone is considering it, I would watch a spinoff about Sweets. On repeat. 24-7.
PLEASE kill off Sweets.Killing him off would be the best move HH ever made.
