HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER fans have known since the end of season 6 that the show was leading up to Barney’s wedding (at the time, the bride was a mystery, until it was revealed a season later that, yep, he was marrying Robin), and now that the ninth — and final — season is upon us, the series will be spending the year revolving around the big day.
