About Last Night…THE X FACTOR

Once again, I only watched THE X FACTOR, but I still have some things to say about what went down…

Obviously, the most memorable contestant of the night was Ashley Williams, whose “I Will Always Love You” was absolutely incredible.

But as a whole, while there have been great contestants this season — and I’d argue the talent pool is deeper this year than it has been in any previous XF season — it is absolutely jarring to hop from city to city at each commercial break, especially when there were days not all of the people were there and it has to keep getting pointed out. If the show returns next season, I would hope they would return to sticking to one or two cities per audition episode.
