GLEE: Jane Lynch on Sue’s Family and Why She’s Okay with Being in the Dark About Upcoming Songs
October 3, 2013 by Marisa Roffman
GLEE’s Sue might have a new job as principal of McKinley High School, but it’s been quite a bit of time since we’ve seen her family. So when I sat down with Jane Lynch (Sue), I asked if viewers could expect to see more from them anytime soon. Plus, why is she fine with not having her heart tied to singing a specific song this season?

I love Glee and have watched the show since the first episode. I am very aware of the push to lessen bullying in schools and in general. After watching the last episode, “Tina in the Sky with Diamonds”, and Sue pushing the new Cheerio to humiliate the Glee Club, I was very upset and offended. There are so many impressionable kids watching Glee and Sue’s encouragement to bully the Glee club by the Cheerio’s is unnecessary. There are so many great lessons to be learned from the show. Keep up that great work and please reconsider Sue’s role and actions. Thank you.
I am a huge fan of Glee and just know that I will cry when The Quarterback is aired. Sue is probably in my top 3 characters, behind Finn and Mr Schue, I just love her and the lines she gets to say. 🙂
