ALMOST HUMAN: Lili Taylor and Minka Kelly Tease ‘Are You Receiving?’

Tonight’s brand new episode ALMOST HUMAN tackles hostage situations in 2048, and unsurprisingly, Kennex and Dorian will find themselves smack in the middle of trouble.

But while the boys are off trying to get things under control, it’s up to Maldonado and the rest of the team to try and help from afar.

“I’m the captain, so I’m at the precinct and overseeing the whole situation [at] base camp,” Lili Taylor (Maldonado) told reporters on a conference call. “It’s a very tense situation. I have to control a lot of elements, and I have my men and women who are out there in harm’s way. The background is we suffered a tremendous loss [previously] and I lost 13 of my men and women. So I think it’s almost like Maldonado is having a little bit of PTSD [while dealing with this]. It’s very intense, but she has to stay in control and get through it.”

For Minka Kelly’s Valerie Stahl, things are a little less pressure-filled.

“I’m helping Maldonado [during the episode],” Kelly laughed.

ALMOST HUMAN airs Mondays at 8 PM on Fox.
