SLEEPY HOLLOW: Alex Kurtzman on Unmasking the Headless Horseman and What Comes Next
November 20, 2013 by Marisa Roffman
Filed under #1 featured, Sleepy Hollow
SLEEPY HOLLOW has consistently raised the stakes with every episode, but this past Monday’s hour, “Necromancer,” took things to a whole new level: while Ichabod and Abbie had the Headless Horseman captured, Ichabod realized, to his horror, that the man/creature that had been tormenting him over the centuries was really his presumed dead best friend, Abraham…who also just happened to be the ex-fiance of Katrina (Ichabod’s wife).
And while other shows might have waited at least a full season before they made that game-changing reveal, SLEEPY HOLLOW co-creator Alex Kurtzman shared that the writers knew from the start that they wanted to play that card early in the series’ run.

Tonight’s episode of DADS gets serious — Eli and Warner fight over comic books. (Friendships have ended over less.)
I talked with the cast before they filmed this episode to get their take on how the duo will resolve this latest issue and what their characters will be up to. Take a look at what Seth Green (Eli), Giovanni Ribisi (Warner), Peter Riegert (David), Martin Mull (Crawford), Vanessa Lachey (Camila), Brenda Song (Veronica), and Tonita Castro (Edna) had to share…

ALMOST HUMAN Exclusive Video: Behind-the-Scenes of ‘Skin’
November 19, 2013 by Marisa Roffman
Filed under #1 featured, Almost Human
ALMOST HUMAN made its time period debut last night with “Skin,” an episode that found Kennex and Dorian dealing with sexbots that were genetically spruced up with real (human) DNA. And while sexbots are OK in 2048, stealing human DNA to make them more lifelike is so not kosher, and our team was called in to shut things down. (Man, it’s crazy to think what kind of problems we may have to deal with in the future!)
In this exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette from “Skin,” you can get a glimpse of how they filmed the big takedown scene, with added insight from ALMOST HUMAN stars Michael Ealy (Dorian) and Michael Irby (Detective Paul), plus guest star Rowland Pidlubny (Yuri), and the show’s stunt coordinator, Scott Nicholson.
