On the Set of SUPERNATURAL: Some Behind-the-Scenes Photos

At the start of the television season, Warner Bros. took a group of reporters up to Vancouver to visit a bunch of sets and conduct interviews. Television sets are almost always significantly more complex — and full of fun trinkets — than ever translates to our television screens, which means there’s a ton of things on them viewers might miss or just not really pay attention to.

To bring a little bit of these sets to you, I took a bunch of photos while visiting the shows. Next up? The CW’s SUPERNATURAL…

The Mindy Project | 9:30pm on Fox

Repeat: Danny tells Mindy that she’s too picky and judgmental of other people. So she makes it her mission to prove him wrong, and goes on a date with her complete opposite: a wild and crazy skateboarder named Graham (guest star Timothy Olyphant). Meanwhile, Jeremy receives a visit from his father (guest star Alan Dale), who seems to prefer Peter (Adam Pally) over his own son.

BONES: ‘The Master in the Slop’ Photo Preview

BONES’ January 24th episode, “The Master in the Slop” features the return of Dr. Douglas Filmore, and Sweets showcases a new skill.

ENLISTED Webisodes: The Cast Goes Through Boot Camp

ENLISTED — the new Fox comedy about a group of misfits on an Army base — is not only one of the most heartfelt/ genuine (and good) shows of the upcoming midseason, but the actors are committed to getting their parts down.

Over the summer, the cast (Geoff Stults, Chris Lowell, Parker Young, Angelique Cabral, and Keith David) went to a real boot camp in Texas and underwent basic training…and Fox filmed it all.

Series Finale: Frustrated that MDK is still active, Nikita (Maggie Q) decides to end it her way. Leaving Michael (Shane West) and the team behind, Nikita takes Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) on the road to exact revenge. Nikita and Alex capture Jones (guest star David S. Lee) and force him to reveal the names of the rest of the members of MDK. Armed with the information, Nikita goes down a dark path that may ultimately cost her her soul. Michael tracks her down and must get her to surrender before the military opens fire and kills her. However, Nikita isn’t one to give up on a fight, leading her to make a shocking decision.

Top 13 TV Shows of 2013

As I said in my top television episodes post, there is a lot of great television on right now. And what hit me as I was compiling this list was that an incredible amount of newbies came out of the gate amazing — in fact, the differences in my list from last year to this year is a bit unreal.

Before we get to the list, the normal disclaimer: I may watch an unholy amount of television (it was probably close to 100 series this year), but I don’t watch everything. Which means, I’m still behind on JUSTIFIED, THE GOOD WIFE, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, and I still haven’t brought myself to watch GAME OF THRONES. It’s possible if they were in the mix, my list would look different. But for now, until we can invent a time-pausing machine, we’ll work with what I can watch.
