Now that THE FOLLOWING’s Joe has slipped back into his old ways, he’s going to have to deal with the fallout. And since the next episode of the show is called “Trust Me”…well, I’m a bit suspicious.
Take a look at some photos from the hour…

Comments Off on HAVEN Season 5: Syfy Orders 26 New Episodes
Syfy has shown a lot of confidence in HAVEN: not only did the network order a fifth season, but it will consist of 26 episodes.
Per the network, “the first 13 episodes of season 5 are set to premiere this fall with the remaining 13 episodes scheduled to air in 2015.”
Are you excited about the renewal?

MOM: Allison Janney on the Challenges of Playing Bonnie, Plus Which Actors She Wants as Love Interests
January 27, 2014 by Marisa Roffman
Allison Janney is no stranger to television (she has nearly 200 episodes of primetime TV under her belt!), but when I caught up with her at a recent WBTV TCA comedy event, she couldn’t stop gushing about playing Bonnie on her new CBS series, MOM.
“I’m loving it,” she raved. “I’m loving the half-hour [multicam sitcom format]. It’s like a carnival, the whole fast-paced atmosphere, it’s very different from an hour-long drama show. I have to tell you, it’s so much fun. I love this job, I love these people.”
“I’m excited to learn who Bonnie is every episode I get,” Janney continued. “I love it, and sometimes it’s a little awkward for me, because I’m so different from her, so it’s like, ‘Really? I’m going to say that? That’s so mean! I don’t want to say that.’ But then I say it, and I hear the laughter, and then I go, ‘Okay, I guess that’s just Bonnie!’ Sometimes it’s a little uncomfortable playing her, and it’s been a little challenging getting used to playing a character this inappropriate and obnoxious. And I’ve been grateful for the moments where you see her vulnerability and you see where she comes from, so you understand why she is the way she is, a little bit. ”
As Janney feels her way around this new character, she told me some of her more long-term fans are also having some transitional issues getting used to Bonnie, too.

Well, this is just awesome: a Fox rep confirms that British actor/author Stephen Fry will recur in the 24 revival that is set to debut this May.
According to Deadline (which was first to report the casting), Fry will play Prime Minister Trevor Davies, a “strong and charismatic leader, whose friendship with President Heller (William Devane), and the Anglo-American alliance itself, come under tremendous pressure because of personal and political crises.”
24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY debuts Monday, May 5th at 8 PM on Fox.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER Episode 200: Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, and Cristin Milioti Preview ‘How Your Mother Met Me’

Comments Off on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER Episode 200: Carter Bays, Craig Thomas, and Cristin Milioti Preview ‘How Your Mother Met Me’
HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER is just a few months away from its series finale, but there is a very important milestone to celebrate in the meantime — the 200th episode, which airs Monday, January 27th. And, fittingly, to commemorate such a big occasion, the show is doing something a bit different: it’s telling the story of Ted and the Mother from the mother’s perspective!
“We didn’t plan the season going ‘200 has to be a big episode,'” HIMYM co-creator Carter Bays told reporters as the show was filming “How Your Mother Met Me.” “It just kind of landed nicely that this 200th episode is really special. I think it’s one of the best we’ve ever done. It’s also, really, unlike any other episode we’ve ever done. When you see it, I think it’s an unlikely choice for a 200th episode. The 100th episode was very much a celebration of this cast with the big musical number. This one is about the story, and about the tale we’ve been telling.”

THE FOLLOWING’s Joe Carroll lives!
James Purefoy’s (Joe) return to the Fox series was hardly a surprise — after all, Purefoy “crashed” the Comic-Con panel last summer to confirm his return — but viewers got their first glimpse of a not-dead (but very bearded) Joe in the final moments of last week’s season premiere.
To get a bit of insight into what Joe has planned next, I spoke with Purefoy about his alter ego…
THE CARRIE DIARIES: Amy B. Harris Teases ‘This is the Time’

Comments Off on THE CARRIE DIARIES: Amy B. Harris Teases ‘This is the Time’
It’s prom night for THE CARRIE DIARIES, and as you’d expect, it’s a very important time for Carrie Bradshaw and her friends.
“The episode is about traditions and rights of passages, and prom, obviously, for so many kids is that,” THE CARRIE DIARIES boss Amy B. Harris shared on the set of the hour, “This is the Time.” “Last year, [we didn’t go big] because I wanted this senior prom to be the one. So last year was the prom that didn’t happen: Carrie and Sebastian broke up; Maggie outed Walt. Just small little stories of normal prom mayhem.”
“I knew I wanted — although some of them are dating and in relationships — I knew I wanted [this episode] to be our foursome at prom,” she continued. “Sort of how we first met them, supporting each other in the pilot, this moment is about the four of them; it’s not about their dates or their love lives. So, it was fun to celebrate that.”
