On Saturday, select Los Angeles THE FOLLOWING fans took on an impressive task: they marathoned all of season 1 (in one day) at a local movie theater. And, as a bonus, THE FOLLOWING creator Kevin Williamson (as well as series star Kevin Bacon) surprised fans by showing up for a quick Q&A.
Before the panel, I spoke with Williamson about the marathon, and what he hoped people picked up on when they watched the show for a second (or third) time…

BONES Recap: ‘The Ghost in the Killer’
January 10, 2014 by Sarah Curtis
Hello BONES fans and happy 2014 to you! How did you like this episode, “The Ghost in the Killer”? To me, it felt a lot like a season premiere. There was a lot of exposition to bring people back up to speed (or perhaps introduce Pelant, etc. to new Friday viewers) and there wasn’t really a resolution to the case; instead, this episode set up an arc involving a new serial killer. Let’s discuss!

ALMOST HUMAN has taken advantage of being set in 2048 by showcasing sexbots, enhanced drugs, futuristic organ black markets, and more, but this Monday’s brand new episode, “You Are Here,” has the potential to be the most terrifying piece of technology yet: a bullet that can track down its target. And when I spoke with ALMOST HUMAN stars Minka Kelly (Stahl) and Lili Taylor (Maldonado) about their favorite cases the show had tackled so far, both women pointed to what goes down in “You Are Here.”
Take a look at why that hour stood out to them the most…

Comments Off on THE CARRIE DIARIES: Amy B. Harris on Tackling the AIDS Epidemic, Relationship Tension, and More
It’s Valentine’s Day on THE CARRIE DIARIES, but it won’t be all hearts and roses for our favorite characters. In fact, a few relationships will face some of their biggest tests yet.
“Well, I think this week’s episode is obviously a big one for Walt and Bennet, with a lot of dramatic underpinnings,” THE CARRIE DIARIES creator Amy B. Harris teased. “For me, I think using Valentine’s Day as a place to expose the conventions of love often bump up against the realities of love, was a very exciting for me with all the storylines, but obviously, for Walt and Bennet, this is a big one. And it’s something we’ve been very eager to lead up to, which is if you’re by the gay community in New York in the ’80s, the AIDS epidemic is obviously a part of that universe.”
As Walt and Bennet deal with life-or-death issues, Carrie and Sebastian struggle to figure out their own future, as Mr. Kydd ponders whether to get into business with a young Tony Hawk.

HBO has set a schedule for a slew of premieres for new and returning shows.
- The fourth season of GAME OF THRONES will kick off HBO’s Sunday nights on April 6th at 9 PM. The third season of VEEP will debut the same night at 10 PM, followed by the series debut of SILICON VALLEY — a new comedy from Mike Judge. (However, if you’ve been counting down the minutes until GOT returns, the season 4 trailer will debut during the series premiere of TRUE DETECTIVE.)
- VICE will kick off its second season on Friday, March 14th at 11 PM.
- BOARDWALK EMPIRE will air its fifth and final season this fall. BOARDWALK EMPIRE boss Terence Winter said in a statement that the writer and HBO “look forward to bringing [the show] to a powerful and exciting conclusion.”
