Comments Off on NBC to Bring Back HEROES With HEROES REBORN
Well, it seems 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY has officially started a trend: NBC announced during the Olympics that HEROES will return next year as an event miniseries.
“The enormous impact HEROES had on the television landscape when it first launched in 2006 was eye-opening,” said NBC Entertainment President Jennifer Salke in a statement. “Shows with that kind of resonance don’t come around often and we thought it was time for another installment. We’re thrilled that visionary creator Tim Kring was as excited about jumping back into this show as we were and we look forward to all the new textures and layers Tim plans to add to his original concept. Until we get closer to air in 2015, the show will be appropriately shrouded in secrecy, but we won’t rule out the possibility of some of the show’s original cast members popping back in.”
And this is the teaser for the show that debuted during the Olympics…

Comments Off on SALEM: Seth Gabel Praises His New Dynamic Role
Seth Gabel has been a familiar presence on television the last few years — with roles on FRINGE, DIRTY SEXY MONEY, ARROW, and more — and when I caught up with him to talk about playing Cotton Mather on SALEM, WGN America’s first scripted original series, he had nothing but excitement about his new role.
Take a look at the video interview to see why Gabel was drawn to this show, why his character can only trust himself (and even barely that), bonding with the SALEM cast, and more…

Comments Off on REVOLUTION: David Lyons Teases ‘Fear and Loathing’
REVOLUTION has been on a mini-hiatus due to the Olympics, but the show returns Wednesday, February 26th, with a run of original episodes. And in the first new hour, “Fear and Loathing,” Monroe and Connor are tasked with fighting each other…to death. (Not exactly the daddy-son bonding either of them would have chosen, I’d imagine.)
To give a little bit of a hint about what’s going down, David Lyons (Monroe) talked with reporters on the show’s Austin set about the men having to come to blows…
THE VOICE: CeeLo Green to Exit

Comments Off on THE VOICE: CeeLo Green to Exit
CeeLo Green has finished his run on THE VOICE he and NBC announced.
“I’m officially announcing today that I won’t be returning as a coach on THE VOICE cycle 7 in the fall,” Green said in a statement. “There are numerous reasons that led to this decision, which has been amicably reached with NBC, but I’m excited to be developing several other ideas with the network and my association with NBC remains strong. THE VOICE has been an immensely enjoyable experience for me and I can only hope I have enriched the lives of our viewers, the contestants, and the many friends I made there. I will always be there in spirit.
“Meanwhile, NBC and I plan to continue our relationship with several new co-ventures including a new music show, while we also explore our ideas for me to create and host a new show of my own. I will not go quietly into the night… expect more great music and entertainment done in my own unique unmistakable and undeniable way. And THE VOICE has given me all the altitude and incentive to do just that. Thanks for the memories and make way for many more!”
NBC president of alternative and late night programming, Paul Telegdy echoed Green’s comments in his own statement.
