When BONES’ Booth and Brennan were prepping to tie the knot this fall, Fox put out the call to BONES fans to see who might be interested in getting engaged on the set. And today, one lucky fan got the opportunity of a lifetime as Kelsey Goff proposed to her boyfriend of several years, Michael Scott, in front of BONES stars Emily Deschanel (Brennan), David Boreanaz (Booth), and Ryan O’Neal (Max), plus the crew, and others.

24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY Adds ARROW’s Colin Salmon

24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY continues to bulk up its cast: a Fox rep confirms that ARROW’s Colin Salmon (he plays Walter on The CW series) has joined the upcoming miniseries event.

According to Deadline (which was first to report the casting), Salmon will play General Coburn, “an intelligent, powerful and fiercely loyal man who does not suffer fools no matter what rank.”

Philip Seymour Hoffman Dead at 46

Philip Seymour Hoffman has died of a suspected drug overdose. He was 46.

In addition to Hoffman’s expansive film career — which included an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in CAPOTE — he was set to headline a new Showtime series, HAPPYISH, this year. (It’s bittersweet now that the trailer critics saw at TCA showed that series to have more promise than most other series that were showcased the rest of the tour.)

A very sad day, and condolences to his family, loved ones, coworkers, and fans.

Update (12:54 PM PT): Showtime has released a statement: “Philip Seymour Hoffman was one of our generation’s finest and most brilliant actors. He was also a gifted comedic talent. It was a great privilege and pleasure to work with him and we are all absolutely devastated by this sudden loss. Our thoughts go out to his family at this very difficult time.”

BONES Recap: ‘The Heiress in the Hill’

Hello BONES fans! Well, it’s time for another mini-hiatus, and if you haven’t yet heard, the show will be coming back on Monday, March 10th (more info from Marisa on that and the season 10 pick-up here). I have to say that I’ve enjoyed watching the show on Friday nights, and this episode, “The Heiress in the Hill” is up there on my list of favorites of this high quality season. Let’s discuss!
