Comments Off on SLEEPY HOLLOW: Mark Goffman Teases What They Have in Store for Fans Between Seasons
It’s been exactly two months since SLEEPY HOLLOW’s first season concluded, and production on the upcoming season is still in the earliest of stages. So with months (and months and months) to go before viewers get SLEEPY HOLLOW season 2, what are fans to do to pass the time?
Well, there’s some good news: before Wednesday’s PaleyFest panel honoring the series, SLEEPY HOLLOW boss Mark Goffman teased they do have some fun things in store to help make the wait a little less torturous.
Check out what they’re planning…

CASTLE: Penny Johnson Jerald Teases Gates’ Big Hour

Since Gates entered the CASTLE world in 2011, fans have only gotten little glimpses of the woman behind the title. But with Monday’s brand new episode, “The Greater Good,” viewers will finally get to explore a little bit of Gates’ complicated family dynamic.
To get a little bit of a tease about the hour, I spoke with CASTLE star Penny Johnson Jerald (Gates) about learning more about her character, what she does with the new info, which upcoming episode nearly caused her to injure herself while reading it, and more…
PARKS AND RECREATION: Jim O’Heir on Larry’s Responsibility, His Bromance with Ben, and the Season Finale
March 20, 2014 by Marisa Roffman
PARKS AND RECREATION’s Garry/Jerry/Larry is often the butt of many jokes (some of which is his own doing, to be fair), but in recent episodes, he’s had moments to shine-ish: when Leslie was MIA during Ben’s surprise early anniversary plans, Larry went along for the (literal) ride, and took her spot in many of the outings; and then when Leslie needed to delegate, she let Larry be responsible for the new Pawnee/Eagleton slogan. (He then, unfortunately, didn’t catch the winning slogan’s misspellings and put the sign with the slogan on it facing the wrong way.)
Before this week’s PaleyFest panel honoring PARKS AND RECREATION, I spoke with Jim O’Heir about Larry’s taste of responsibility, his bromance with Ben (which continues in tonight’s brand new episode), the season finale, and more…

Comments Off on SLEEPY HOLLOW at PaleyFest: The Producers Tease New Characters in Season 2
When SLEEPY HOLLOW’s first season concluded, showrunner Mark Goffman teased that in season 2, “we get to populate the town with a few more characters.” And now that the writers have started crafting season 2, the executive producers teased a little bit of what’s to come during the show’s PaleyFest panel.
“War doesn’t work by himself,” executive producer Roberto Orci teased. “There are a lot of amazing foot soldiers that are coming. Some are familiar and also amazingly original.”
But to make things fair, the good guys will also have a new bonus face that they bring into the fight, too.

ARROW: Marc Guggenheim and David Ramsey Preview ‘Suicide Squad’

Comments Off on ARROW: Marc Guggenheim and David Ramsey Preview ‘Suicide Squad’
ARROW is bringing viewers a bit of a different episode with tonight’s (awesome) new hour: Diggle takes center stage as he has to team up with the Suicide Squad.
“You know, it’s funny, we get asked the question a lot: how long have we known we were going to do the Suicide Squad?” ARROW executive producer Marc Guggenheim explained to reporters earlier this week. “And the truth is, it happened so organically, that I don’t have a memory [of the specifics]. For us, what happened was the year started — as year one did — with DC providing us with a list of characters who were available, and who they would like to see on the show. We went through it, and one of the characters was Bronze Tiger. We thought that was a character we could very organically ARROW-fy. And it seemed to make sense to us. But we had to wait for the right time…we find the right story to fit the character. And as it happened, we ended up doing it sooner than we expected, which was the second episode of season 2. And then we started to talk, well, we have Amanda Waller happening in episode 6, and we had A.R.G.U.S. last year, and we had Deadshot last year, so that gives us two members of the Suicide Squad — three, if you count Amanda — and we started whispering the words to each other: ‘Suicide Squad. Wouldn’t that be fun to get to?’ And then it just sort of happened very organically.”
