After spending its first season airing on Tuesdays (minus the one-time, post-post-Super Bowl slot), BROOKLYN NINE-NINE will be heading to Sundays this fall. And while some people might be nervous about changing nights, the cast and creative team are actually really excited about the move…and they’re especially thrilled about being paired with THE SIMPSONS.
Check out what BROOKLYN NINE-NINE stars Andy Samberg (Jake) and Stephanie Beatriz (Rosa), as well as co-creator Dan Goor had to say about the show’s second season airing on Sundays…

In SLEEPY HOLLOW’s first season, the show excelled at surprising viewers: from the very first episode (which featured two characters who appeared to be major players getting killed off) all the way to the finale reveal that the show had been playing a long-con with Henry, fans knew only to expect the unexpected.
But what really surprised the people involved with the show? And which surprises were the writers/producers surprised they were able to pull off? To get a little bit of intel, I asked SLEEPY HOLLOW stars Tom Mison (Ichabod), Nicole Beharie (Abbie), Lyndie Greenwood (Jenny), and John Cho (Andy), as well as co-creators Len Wiseman, Roberto Orci, and Alex Kurtzman, producer Heather Kadin, and showrunner Mark Goffman for their favorite surprising moments of the show’s freshman season…

Thandie Newton’s Grace is in a different headspace when ROGUE returns for a second season tonight: after spending the first season solving the murder of her son, the new year finds her in a new job (as an FBI handler), trying to figure out what her life is like post-tragedy.

ROGUE is returning to DirecTV for its second season tonight, but many things have changed. The show will still be centered around Thandie Newton’s Grace, but she has a new job as a handler for the FBI, and she’s surrounded by a new group of people — some good, some…not so much.
One of the show’s new additions is Ethan (played by Cole Hauser), a former solider whose primary group of associates are the men he fought with in the war. And, naturally, one of the men in Ethan’s group is the target of Grace’s investigation.
On the show’s Vancouver set, Hauser talked with reporters about what viewers can expect from season 2, what drew him to the series, and more…

Separated from her husband, she is committed to providing a stable home for her daughter Evie (Sarah Jeffries), but those plans are thwarted by the unexpected arrival of her estranged mother Vivian (Clare Higgins). Professionally, Grace has taken a job as a handler for an FBI Task Force investigating the shadowy world of corporate espionage in San Francisco. Comments Off on DAREDEVIL: Charlie Cox to Headline New Netflix Series
DAREDEVIL — the Netflix/Marvel series about the comic character Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer by day who moonlights as a crime-fighter (and also the basis for the 2003 movie starring Ben Affleck) — has found its leading man: former BOARDWALK EMPIRE star Charlie Cox. The Hollywood Reporter first confirmed the news.
The series also underwent a showrunner change over the weekend as Drew Goddard (who wrote the show’s first two episodes) stepped down to focus on the Spider-Man spin-off movie, SINISTER SIX, while former SPARTACUS boss Steven S. DeKnight stepped up to take control of the series.
Are you excited about Cox being cast in DAREDEVIL?

Which Newly Canceled Shows Are You Going to Miss the Most?
May 27, 2014 by Marisa Roffman
As we say goodbye to the 2013-2014 television season (and look ahead to the 2014-2015 season), there is the unfortunate fact that as per usual we had to say goodbye to a lot of shows. Some were planned (BREAKING BAD, HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, etc.), and others…not so much.
Television is kind of a crazy medium to get invested in. For (most) books and movies, there’s a set beginning, middle, and end for each story, so even if only five people actually view it, the full story is still there. Not so much in TV. Even long-running shows can be canceled at the drop of a hat, and the number of series that get to end things wholly on their own terms still is minimal.

Another bit of SLEEPY HOLLOW casting news: a rep has confirmed that the series has cast HOUSE OF CARDS’ Sakina Jaffrey as Leena Reyes, a new sheriff who will be (hopefully temporarily) taking over for Captain Irving, since Irving ended last season in jail in an attempt to protect his family. The casting was first announced by E! News.
In March before the show’s PaleyFest panel, SLEEPY HOLLOW producer Heather Kadin teased that they were looking to cast a woman to “replace” Irving as he dealt with his legal issues.
