ABC Picks Up SELFIE, FOREVER, GALAVANT, THE WHISPERS, AMERICAN CRIME, and BLACK-ISH to Series

In addition to ABC’s new Marvel project, AGENT CARTER, and the new Shonda Rhimes-produced series, HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER, the network announced six other pickups for the 2014-2015 season.
Here are the new shows to expect on ABC next season:
SELFIE, from SUBURGATORY creator Emily Kapnek, stars Karen Gillan and John Cho and is a modern take on MY FAIR LADY.
FOREVER, from Matt Miller, stars Ioan Gruffudd and Alana de la Garza, and is about a New York medical examiner (Gruffudd) who is immortal.
GALAVANT, a fairytale musical from THE NEIGHBORS creator Dan Fogelman.
THE WHISPERS, is an alien drama starring Milo Ventimiglia and Barry Sloane.
AMERICAN CRIME, stars Timothy Hutton and Felicity Huffman, and centers around a racially-charged murder and the trial that follows it.
BLACK-ISH, a comedy starring Anthony Anderson, is about a man struggling to raise his kids with a sense of cultural identity.
