Fox Announces 2014-2015 Schedule

With Fox shifting into year-round programming, there are a good amount of new shows debuting this fall, but a whole lot of shows are being saved for 2015. (And in terms of returning scripted, non-animated shows, only SLEEPY HOLLOW, NEW GIRL, and THE MINDY PROJECT are starting Fall 2014 in the same slot they started Fall 2013 in.)
“Our portfolio of content this year reflects the biggest investment in programming we’ve ever made,” said Kevin Reilly, Chairman, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) in a statement. “FOX is redefining the network experience on our air and as a 24/7/365 platform, with distinctive series, addictive event dramas and can’t-miss live specials that will deliver broadcast’s most youthful audience at scale.”

Comments Off on Fox and Pitbull Team Up for PITBULL’S NEW YEAR’S REVOLUTION
It might only be May, but Fox has set its New Year Eve date already: Pitbull!
Rather than celebrate the New Year in the cold, in the special PITBULL’S NEW YEAR’S REVOLUTION, Pitbull will “perform and be joined by some of his favorite A-list musicians, DJs and celebrity friends” during a live event in Miami. According to Fox, the special will “spotlight some of today’s most talented artists and will feature hot live performances and a countdown to 2015. On New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 31, the LIVE party kicks off 8:00-10:00 PM ET live (CT/MT/PT tape-delayed) on FOX. Then, following local news, PITBULL’S NEW YEAR’S REVOLUTION (wt) returns from 11:00 PM-12:30 AM ET Live (CT/MT/PT tape-delayed), for the night’s hottest celebration.”
“It’s very exciting to bring Endemol, FOX and my new production company, Honey I’m Home, together to create a LIVE New Year’s Eve show,” said Armando Christian Perez, aka Pitbull, in a statement. “The world needs to get ready to un-mute New Year’s Eve, because we are taking the party from the Big Apple to the Pineapple. New Year’s Eve is officially in Miami and hosted by yours truly, Mr. Worldwide. P.S. Whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but whatever happens in Miami never happened, Daleee!”
