BACKSTROM: Sarah Chalke to Recur

BACKSTROM — the new Rainn Wilson-led series coming to Fox next year — has landed its first major guest star: a rep for the show has confirmed that former SCRUBS star Sarah Chalke is set to recur on the procedural.

Chalke will play Amy, the ex-fiancee of Wilson’s Backstrom, who is back in town to head up the Chair of the Civilian Oversight Committee — which will put her right in the mix of monitoring Backstrom’s questionable behavior.
