It’s no secret my friend/vodcast partner Danielle Turchiano (from Made Possible By Pop Culture) and I have had mixed feelings about UNDER THE DOME. But we’ve kept watching.
And so since we’ve kept watching, we decided to check in to see what we thought about the current season…
PERSON OF INTEREST: Michael Emerson and Kevin Chapman Tease Season 4’s New Beginning

The PERSON OF INTEREST characters had to split up at the end of last season after Samaritan went online…and poor Fusco was the only one left behind to live his life. (Though he will get a new boss and partner in season 4, so it’s not like Fusco is going to get the chance to become complacent.)
At Comic-Con, PERSON OF INTEREST stars Michael Emerson (Finch) and Kevin Chapman (Fusco) talked with reporters about Finch’s new life, Fusco’s partner, the new beginning, the season 4 threats, and more…

Comments Off on ARROW: Colton Haynes on Roy’s New Costume, a Big Question About the Mirakuru Cure, Team Arrow, And More
ARROW’s Roy went through a big transition last year, and this season is poised to be even bigger: he’s Mirakuru-free, he has a new costume, and he’s split with Thea.
At Comic-Con, Colton Haynes (Roy) spoke with reporters about “the coolest costume,” how long the Mirakuru cure might last, the dynamic of Team Arrow, and more…
THE FOLLOWING: Marcos Siega and Jennifer Johnson on Keeping Joe Alive, the Stakes for Ryan in Season 3, and More

For two seasons, Ryan Hardy’s obsession with catching Joe Carroll (and the duo’s twisted relationship) drove THE FOLLOWING’s storytelling. But now, Joe has been recaptured — and won’t be escaping — while Ryan will be facing a brand new threat in season 3.
So how will the series handle the massive shift in the show’s dynamic? And why did they ultimately opt to keep Joe alive after filming an alternate ending where he was killed? After the show’s Comic-Con panel, director/executive producer Marcos Siega and new showrunner Jennifer Johnson spoke with reporters about that, how James Purefoy (Joe) handled being in the dark about not knowing his character’s fate, and more…

Comments Off on THE FLASH: Greg Berlanti on Bringing in More Comic Characters, the Crossover with ARROW, and More
THE FLASH has yet to officially debut on The CW (if you exclude the crossovers that occurred during ARROW’s second season), but the show already has big plans in store for its first season: big guest stars (both good and bad guys), more crossovers with ARROW, and original FLASH star playing a vital role in this new version, and so much more.
At Comic-Con, THE FLASH executive producer Greg Berlanti spoke with reporters about what’s in store for THE FLASH’s first season, including the possibility of one of the core characters transitioning over to the not-so-great side (like they are in the comics)…

Saving the (fictional) world from monsters, creatures, and the upcoming apocalypse can be rough. But luckily for the stars of SLEEPY HOLLOW, they’ve found ways to keep the show’s atmosphere light while filming the Fox drama in Wilmington, North Carolina.
At Comic-Con, SLEEPY HOLLOW stars Tom Mison (Ichabod) and Nicole Beharie (Abbie), talked with reporters about the shenanigans they get into on set, and showrunner Mark Goffman shared his own story from filming the season 1 finale…
BONES’ Emily Deschanel Previews Booth and Brennan’s Reunion: It’s Not What You Would Expect

When BONES ended its ninth season, a wounded Booth was falsely arrested, and a distraught Brennan was forcibly removed from his hospital room. The show will pick up months later, with Booth still in jail (and suffering from PTSD), as Brennan has been working to get him out.
So where does this leave the duo when Booth inevitably does get out of jail? I spoke with BONES star Emily Deschanel (Brennan) about that, going undercover again, and more…

Showtime has made some changes to its fall schedule: HOMELAND’s fourth season will now kick off with its first two episodes airing back-to-back on October 5th, starting at 9 PM.
Additionally, the network’s new Dominic West/Ruth Wilson/Maura Tierney/Joshua Jackson-led series, THE AFFAIR — which, by the way, is just incredible — will launch a week earlier than planned — it will now debut on October 12th at 10 PM.

Comments Off on THE FOLLOWING Season 3: Zuleikha Robinson Joins as Ryan’s New Love
THE FOLLOWING’s Ryan Hardy will have a new love, Gwen in season 3, and a rep for the show confirms that Zuleikha Robinson (LOST, HOMELAND) has landed the series regular role. Deadline was first to report the casting.
“Ryan finds love, and he’s in an incredibly happy place, but we’re going to challenge that,” new showrunner Jennifer Johnson said at Comic-Con last month.
“What we know so far is they’re happy together,” Kevin Bacon (Ryan) added. “She’s a doctor. We are living together. And she has a daughter. So I’m actually trying to experience some domesticity.”
But it’s THE FOLLOWING, so that surely can’t last…
THE FOLLOWING returns in early 2015 on Fox.

RAY DONOVAN: Vinessa Shaw on Kate’s ‘Addiction to Adrenaline,’ Her Twisted Relationship with Ray, and More

Comments Off on RAY DONOVAN: Vinessa Shaw on Kate’s ‘Addiction to Adrenaline,’ Her Twisted Relationship with Ray, and More
RAY DONOVAN’s title character has always has his share of foes, but Kate McPherson, a Boston Globe reporter who is writing a book on Sully (and his death), has proven to be an interesting challenge for him: the duo’s chemistry led to them winding up in bed together (more than once), but despite that, Kate has been unwilling to give up her quest to find out what truly happened.
And while actress Vinessa Shaw (Kate) acknowledged that the duo are “soul mates in a way, with how they approach their lives,” the top priority remains for her character to find out the real story…no matter what the cost may be.
I spoke with Shaw about Kate’s devotion to her job, the complicated relationship Kate shares with Ray, joining the Showtime series in its second season, and more…

Comments Off on ‘We Have Thoughts’ Vodcast: Danielle and Marisa Talk About THE KILLING’s Final Season
Netflix released the (short) final season of THE KILLING last week, and while I wrote some thoughts about it, I still had a bit more to say.
So, what better time to resume vodcasting with my friend/vodcast partner-in-crime Danielle Turchiano (from Made Possible By Pop Culture)? And, not surprisingly, she had a lot to say about the show’s final season, too.
As a fair warning, we talked about the entire season in these vodcasts, including the resolution of the main case, where Holder and Linden ended up, and everything else in between. So if you’re still making your way through the season, please don’t watch these until you’ve finished.
For everyone else, check out what we had to say…
