BONES’ Stephen Nathan and Jonathan Collier Tease Episode 200: It’s Like an Amusement Park Ride

BONES’ 200th episode is practically around the corner — the tenth season premiere marks hour 191 for the Fox drama — and while BONES executive producers Stephen Nathan and Jonathan Collier would only tease that it would be a “totally unique episode” the last time we talked, the duo were willing to give up a few more details at the Fox Eco-Casino party on Monday night.
“The 200th…will be a little bit like an amusement park ride,” Nathan teased. “It’s not going to be anything people have seen before; it’s not a science-fiction-y, alternate-universe thing. It’s more of a story. We’re using Booth and Brennan to tell another version of their story.”

UTOPIA’s host/narrator, Dan Piraro, may not be the most familiar face to television viewers, but odds are if you’ve looked at the comics section of your newspaper over the past 29 years, you’d be familiar with his work: Piraro is the creator of the syndicated single-panel cartoon, “Bizarro.”
To get some intel on how he became involved with UTOPIA — and how much of his own fingerprint he can put on the series — I sat down with Piraro to get his take on the show…

BONES’ 10th season will see a familiar face returning — Nora Dunn’s Tess Brown. (Dunn’s Tess first appeared in “The Dude in the Dam” as an author whom Brennan clashed with.)
In the video interview below, BONES stars Emily Deschanel (Brennan) and David Boreanaz (Booth) teased Tess Brown’s return (at a forensic convention!) in the episode they’re filming right now, and also offered a brief tease about the upcoming human trafficking episode, “The Lost Love in the Foreign Land”…

THE SIMPSONS fans got a treat when the series launched its syndication run on FXX: the network aired all 25 seasons (and the movie!) in one giant marathon — dubbed, appropriately, “Every. Simpsons. Ever” — over 12 consecutive days in late August/early September.
I sat down with THE SIMPSONS star Yeardley Smith (Lisa) to talk about the “incredibly gratifying” fan response to the uber-SIMPSONS marathon…

James Cordon will replace Craig Ferguson as host of THE LATE LATE SHOW, CBS announced.
“James Corden is a rare entertainment force who combines irresistible charm, warmth and originality with a diverse range of creative instincts and performance talent,” said Nina Tassler, Chairman, CBS Entertainment in a stated. “He is the ultimate multi-hyphenate – a writer, creator and performer who is loved and respected in every medium he touches, including theater, comedy, music, film and television. James is already a big star in the UK and he’s wowed American audiences on Broadway; we’re very excited to introduce his considerable and very unique talents to our network television audience on a daily basis.”
“I can’t describe how thrilled and honoured I am to be taking over from the brilliant Craig Ferguson,” added Corden. “To be asked to host such a prestigious show on America’s #1 network is hugely exciting. I can’t wait to get started, and will do my very best to make a show America will enjoy.”
Ferguson is set to sign off in December. Cordon will start his run on the show in 2015.

Comments Off on THE FLASH’s Andrew Kreisberg on the PRISON BREAK Reunion: It Was Wentworth Miller’s Idea!
THE FLASH got fans buzzing when it was announced earlier this week that former PRISON BREAK star Dominic Purcell would be joining his former co-star, Wentworth Miller, for a guest spot on the series. (Purcell will play Mick Rory, AKA the future Heatwave, in episode 10, and Miller will first appear as Leonard Snart, AKA Captain Cold, in episode 4.)
Making the reunion even sweeter? THE FLASH executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told me (before Saturday night’s PaleyFest panel honoring the series) that the idea to bring Purcell on the freshman drama actually came from Miller.
Take a look at the video to see what Kreisberg said about the reunion, other guest stars, and whether this is just the start of meta-humans teaming up against Team FLASH…

Starting on Sunday, viewers will be able to watch the exploits of 15 regular people who were brought together to build their own version of utopia. But in a fitting twist for television, before production could even officially start on UTOPIA, one of the contestants was kicked off the series for violating her contract.

Comments Off on SLEEPY HOLLOW: Nicole Beharie on the Incredible Fan Response: ‘That’s Been the Thing That I Didn’t See Coming’
SLEEPY HOLLOW was been filled with shocks in its first season, but for series star Nicole Beharie (Abbie), she admitted the fan reaction to the show — and her character — was the thing she didn’t see coming.
In the video below, Beharie acknowledged that with some of the movies she’s worked on in the past, there was an obvious attempt to make the audience feel something, but with this project, she didn’t see it at first…”but it’s managing to do that.”
Check out what she had to say about that, and why she thinks the SLEEPYHEADS — AKA the members of the SLEEPY HOLLOW fandom — are “so gorgeous and so kind”…

ARROW’s Thea embracing her biological father won’t be the only big switch in store for her in season 3 — she will also have a new love interest, too.
A rep for the show has confirmed that THE CARRIE DIARIES’ Austin Butler has been tapped to play Chase, DJ who catches Thea’s eye. (I’m guessing Roy won’t be too thrilled about this…) He will first appear in episode 7, and is set to recur.
