For as many fun things that THE FLASH set up with last week’s series premiere, one of the biggest questions most viewers had coming out of the hour was what the heck was going on with Dr. Harrison Wells?
At first, Dr. Wells appeared to simply be the S.T.A.R. Labs director, who’s helping Barry partially as an attempt to salvage his research. But the final moments of the opening episode revealed that Wells had a secret room — where he had a holographic newspaper from 2024 that states that The Flash has disappeared.
I sat down with Tom Cavanagh (Dr. Wells) to get his take on where the character fits in with Team Flash, how much he knew about the character when he agreed to join the show, and more…

Buckle your seat belts, SLEEPY HOLLOW fans: Ichabod Crane can drive. He doesn’t have his license yet — and he probably won’t be able to get it until he’s complained at length about parallel parking — but thanks to Jenny’s training, he is technically proficient behind the wheel. Who needs the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse when you’ve got the power of 300 horses in one throttle? Read more

JANE THE VIRGIN isn’t quite like any other show on network television, and series star Gina Rodriguez (Jane) praised the writers behind the show for that fact.
“The writing is incredible,” she gushed in the video below. “And to me, at the end of the day, it all starts with the writing. The writing is stupendous. So we’ve got to really live up to all the hard work that our writers are doing because it’s really good.”

Fox has expanded its plans for GOTHAM’s first season: the new drama was originally supposed to have 16 episodes, but the network announced the order was upped to a full 22 episodes.
“GOTHAM debuted as one of the most buzzed-about shows of the fall, and with good reason,” said Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs of Fox Television Group, in a statement. “Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon have created an incredibly rich world, with characters that draw you in and a cast that brings to life these heroes and villains in a way we’ve never seen before. We are so excited to see where Bruno, Danny and the entire GOTHAM team take this story over the course of this season, and so thankful to all the fans who have embraced it this fall.”
Are you excited to get more GOTHAM?
GOTHAM airs Mondays at 8 PM on Fox.

CRISTELA: What You Need to Know About the New ABC Series

Comments Off on CRISTELA: What You Need to Know About the New ABC Series
There are a ton, ton, ton of new shows launching this season, and it’s going to get difficult to keep track of them all.
To help you out, for every new show, I’m going to basically create a hub of info on the day of the premiere — pilot photos, what’s been written about it so far, and when you can watch it.
Next up, CRISTELA…
ABC’s description: “In her sixth year of law school, Cristela (Cristela Alonzo) is finally on the brink of landing her first big (unpaid) internship at a prestigious law firm. The only problem is that her pursuit of success is more ambitious than her traditional Mexican-American family thinks is appropriate. She’s stuck straddling the old culture she’s trying to modernize at home with her working-class family and the modern world she’s trying to embrace in her professional career. Breakout comedian Cristela Alonzo stars in this hilarious comedy about laughing your way down the path to the new American dream.
“Cristela” stars Cristela Alonzo as Cristela, Carlos Ponce as Felix, Terri Hoyos as Natalia, Andrew Leeds as Josh and Sam McMurray as Trent.
“Cristela” was written by Cristela Alonzo and Kevin Hench. Executive producers are Kevin Hench, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements and Shawn Levy. “Cristela” is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.”
And the links to catch up on:
CRISTELA premieres tonight at 8:30 PM on ABC.

BONES Recap: ‘The Purging of the Pundit’
October 9, 2014 by Sarah Curtis
Hey BONES fans, how did you like “The Purging of the Pundit”? I liked it for the most part. It was nice to see a lighter tone alongside the team’s process of moving on from Sweets’ death and the FBI conspiracy.
After the usual “finding of the body,” the episode begins with Brennan finding Booth in the kitchen, after another night of (presumably) not much sleeping. She tells him she’s worried about him, but he says he’ll sleep when he’s tired. And instead of taking him by that loosely worn tie and dragging him back to bed (who needs sleep?), Brennan and Booth decide to go solve a murder. Noble souls. The least we can do is discuss it.
