BONES’ 200th Episode Celebration: Watch Part of the Speeches Given!
November 17, 2014 by Marisa Roffman
BONES celebrated the filming of its 200th episode last Friday on one of the show’s most recognizable sets (the Jeffersonian lab), and addition to the cake (shaped like a skeleton, naturally), there were speeches given by Fox Television Group Chairman and CEO Gary Newman, BONES bosses Hart Hanson and Stephen Nathan, and series stars Emily Deschanel (Brennan) and David Boreanaz (Booth).
Check out some (excerpts) of the speeches that were given on Friday…
(And as a warning, there were a lot of people there and we were squished together, so sometimes the videos get a little shaky as the crowd moved.)

Nice speeches, nice to see that HH still understands why we watch Bones, to see the center, B & B, the supporting cast and squints are fun to watch but its not Bones with Booth and Brennan front and center and as both work and life partners.
Love the opportunity to witness the backstage camaraderie that translates so well to the screen. Speeches from the movers and shakers of this popular series as well as the chemistry between cast members illustrate how important it is to have a happy work environment. Every time I have the chance to see members of the cast and “management” be themselves just emphasizes that point. These are all individuals who, while very professional, really enjoy what they do. Their hard work, long hours, and sincere regard for each other’s talents is what has made “Bones” a long-running success. Here’s to several more seasons.
Thank you, Catherine! My sentiments exactly! We have not seen the heart and soul of the show all season! Oh, we see Brennan AT THE LAB bickering with her interns, and Booth always running around with Aubrey now – boring!. So far, we are lucky to see B&B in two or three SHORT, UNROMANTIC (for the most part) scenes together! I wonder if the 200th will be the same old “Booth and Aubrey hour” or if it will actually feature Booth and Brennan like it should. This show needs to get back to what made it so special and put it on magazine covers – BOOTH AND BRENNAN! !
