4. The Mindy Project
THE MINDY PROJECT is not a romantic comedy. THE MINDY PROJECT is a smart and incisive comedy about romantic comedies. It’s about how they interact with our lives and color our expectations in ways that are sometimes unfair and sometimes wonderful, and how we discount women for liking them before we see who they are. Mindy wants a happy ending with Danny, but she won’t let it come at the expense of her own self-respect — and Mindy Lahiri really respects herself. As for Danny, he continues to be as flawed as everyone on this show, and as soft. In some ways, this show is still workshopping, but so are all of its characters.

Great! I agree since some of the mention shows above really last longer and an instant hit yesteryear.
