SAturday Night Live: 'Martin Freeman'

I think SNL has been good this season. Not everything is a huge success, but in a Youtube driven market where everything is expected to go viral (this affects shows like THE TONIGHT SHOW, etc. too), I think that drive for re-plays and popularity can hamper creativity. Not to analyze SNL as a whole, but it is interesting that several episodes heavily rely on pre-taped segments. They are often excellent and some of the best parts of the night — but it sort of changes the meaning of "live," in my opinion. Having said all of that, the recent Martin Freeman-hosted episode was pretty excellent, from start to finish. Highlights include the mattress warehouse commercial, The Office: Middle Earth sketch, and the commercial about coming home for church.

“The Calm” was trash and Sara’s death pushed nothing. Stop buying the lines the producers are feeding you about that and examine how much of the season was really about Sara or her death. Hint: The answer’s 0%.
