For this year’s top shows/episodes of the year rankings, each member of Team Give Me My Remote will have their say! First up, Sarah Curtis ranks her top shows of 2014…
(Note: the shows in this post are listed in alphabetical order versus being ranked in preference.)
BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
The show’s freshman season won several awards, and deservedly so. Meanwhile, the second season of the Fox comedy has been even better, as the interactions between the main cast have been shuffled a bit in both romantic and professional ways (Gina/Boyle, Rosa/Holt, Jake/Amy, Rosa/Amy, etc.) to the show’s advantage. It needed to break away from just being the Andy Samberg show, and it has done so. Highlights include the Halloween episode, anything with Craig Robinson as guest star Doug Judy, and the way the show has handled the Jake and Amy tentative relationship.
