The cast and crew of BONES celebrated the filming of their 200th episode with an on-set celebration on Friday. There to pay tribute to the Fox drama’s run so far were the series stars, executive producers, a number of guest stars (including many of the squinterns, plus Cyndi Lauper and Ryan O’Neal), the writers, and a good portion of the crew.
Check out some photos from the festivities…

Comments Off on Report: CBS Cancels THE MILLERS
Well, this is baffling: according to multiple reports, CBS has pulled the plug on THE MILLERS, ending production immediately. (Only next week’s episode is scheduled to air at this point.)
THE MILLERS had been struggling in the ratings recently (after losing its THE BIG BANG THEORY lead-in), but it’s fairly rare for a second year series to be canceled like this.

Fox has ordered more episodes of THE MINDY PROJECT, the network announced. The order — for six extra episodes — brings the season 3 total up to 21 installments.
Per Fox, “THE MINDY PROJECT is averaging a 1.6/5 among Adults 18-49 and 3.1 million viewers and is a Top 5 live-action comedy with its core Women 18-34 demographic. In addition, it has been seeing 30-day multiplatform lifts of up to +99% this season vs Live + Same Day.”
The order for more THE MINDY PROJECT comes after NEW GIRL and BROOKLYN NINE-NINE got an order for an extra episode each.

Comments Off on On the Set of JANE THE VIRGIN: 7 Things To Know About What’s to Come
JANE THE VIRGIN is mid-way through its original 13-episode run, and things are moving fast! The CW ordered the back nine episodes — granting the freshman drama a full first season — but that doesn’t mean show creator Jennie Synder Urman and her writers room are resting on their laurels or dragging storylines out, old-school soap opera style. Instead, this comedic play on a telenovela about a young woman who gets artificially inseminated and has her whole world turned upside down is picking up the pace and changing relationship statuses to introduce all new dynamics.
I visited the Manhattan Beach (standing in for Miami) set of JANE THE VIRGIN earlier this week to sit down with the cast and find out all the juicy secrets about to unfold. Here is some of what I learned…
BONES: Fox Teases Episode 200, ‘The 200th in the 10th’
November 14, 2014 by Marisa Roffman
BONES is celebrating its 200th episode on Thursday, December 11th, and “The 200th in the 10th” is going to be a different kind of hour: the show will be paying homage to Alfred Hitchcock.
Per a tease from Fox, in the hour (which is set in Hollywood in the 1950s), Brennan is an LAPD detective “who’s battling sexism on the force,” while Booth is “notorious jewel thief who is far more than he seems to be.”
CASTLE: David Amann Teases Castle and Beckett’s ‘Honeymoon’ in ‘Once Upon a Time in the West’

CASTLE’s Castle and Beckett got married in an adorably perfect/fitting ceremony in the latest episode of the series, and naturally, next up is a honeymoon. Unfortunately for the duo, it’s not their real honeymoon — they go undercover at a dude ranch to try and solve a case.
And while going undercover might sound like they’re going all out with fake names/personas, etc., CASTLE showrunner David Amann noted that the circumstances of the case will allow the two to keep things a little bit more simple than a traditional undercover assignment.

Hello, BONES Fans! Did you like this episode, “The Money Maker on the Merry Go Round”? The title is a bit of a tongue twister, and the case is just as intricate. GRACEPOINT: Kevin Zegers and Jessica Lucas on the Fallout From the Latest Death
November 13, 2014 by Marisa Roffman
GRACEPOINT was rocked with another death in last week’s episode, but the circumstances were wildly different from Danny’s death (AKA the murder that kicked off the whole series) — after Jack’s past was revealed (he had been previously accused of statutory rape; he and the woman in question went on to get married and have a son together…but the marriage fell apart when their son died), and the most of the town turned on him, assuming the worst, Jack ended his own life.
So where does that leave Owen and Renee, whose actions caused the town to turn against Jack? Kevin Zegers (Owen) and Jessica Lucas (Renee) weighed in about what comes next…
PARENTHOOD’s Jason Katims, Erika Christensen, and Sam Jaeger on What’s Next for Joel and Julia

NBC held a 100th episode cake cutting celebration event in Los Angeles last week to celebrate PARENTHOOD’s major milestone. To kick things off, series creator and showrunner Jason Katims spoke about his journey with the show and what the family the show created — both the Bravermans and the behind-the-scenes group — meant to him. He wrapped things up thanking the “incredibly passionate and loyal” PARENTHOOD fans, without whom he felt the show would not still be here. But he also apologized to those same fans for one very key two-season story.
“I apologize for making you so mad about Joel and Julia,” Katims said. “I definitely want to bring that storyline to a resolution by the end of the year… The thing is, I didn’t want to, in the beginning of the season, have them just be like ‘Oh, now we’re back together.’ I don’t know if they would have really gotten through what they needed to get through [in their time off-screen], so that’s what I am trying to explore this season [and] to have the ending earned.”

In the meantime, check out some photos from the hour, which include another character making a big move…
