UNFORGETTABLE won’t be returning to CBS, a rep for the show confirmed.
The series — which was canceled (and then picked up again) by CBS in 2012 — has had a a bumpy ride on the network. Recently, the network swapped its time slot with the recently-canceled RECKLESS.

CRISTELA: What You Need to Know About the New ABC Series

Comments Off on CRISTELA: What You Need to Know About the New ABC Series
There are a ton, ton, ton of new shows launching this season, and it’s going to get difficult to keep track of them all.
To help you out, for every new show, I’m going to basically create a hub of info on the day of the premiere — pilot photos, what’s been written about it so far, and when you can watch it.
Next up, CRISTELA…
ABC’s description: “In her sixth year of law school, Cristela (Cristela Alonzo) is finally on the brink of landing her first big (unpaid) internship at a prestigious law firm. The only problem is that her pursuit of success is more ambitious than her traditional Mexican-American family thinks is appropriate. She’s stuck straddling the old culture she’s trying to modernize at home with her working-class family and the modern world she’s trying to embrace in her professional career. Breakout comedian Cristela Alonzo stars in this hilarious comedy about laughing your way down the path to the new American dream.
“Cristela” stars Cristela Alonzo as Cristela, Carlos Ponce as Felix, Terri Hoyos as Natalia, Andrew Leeds as Josh and Sam McMurray as Trent.
“Cristela” was written by Cristela Alonzo and Kevin Hench. Executive producers are Kevin Hench, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements and Shawn Levy. “Cristela” is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.”
And the links to catch up on:
CRISTELA premieres tonight at 8:30 PM on ABC.

BONES Recap: ‘The Purging of the Pundit’
October 9, 2014 by Sarah Curtis
Hey BONES fans, how did you like “The Purging of the Pundit”? I liked it for the most part. It was nice to see a lighter tone alongside the team’s process of moving on from Sweets’ death and the FBI conspiracy.
After the usual “finding of the body,” the episode begins with Brennan finding Booth in the kitchen, after another night of (presumably) not much sleeping. She tells him she’s worried about him, but he says he’ll sleep when he’s tired. And instead of taking him by that loosely worn tie and dragging him back to bed (who needs sleep?), Brennan and Booth decide to go solve a murder. Noble souls. The least we can do is discuss it.

ABC has made its first decisions about its new shows: HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER and BLACK-ISH have been picked up for full seasons. (The caveat being that HTGAWM’s full season is only 15 episodes.)
Are you excited for more of HTGAWM and BLACK-ISH?

ELEMENTARY is back in three weeks, and based on the first photos from the season, it seems like things will be a bit different: Holmes is back in New York, but he has a new apprentice. And in order to work with the NYPD again, he’ll have to get Watson’s permission.
Check out some photos for the third season premiere, “Enough Nemesis To Go Around”…

TRANSPARENT Renewed for Season 2 by Amazon

Comments Off on TRANSPARENT Renewed for Season 2 by Amazon
TRANSPARENT debuted on Amazon less than two weeks ago, and the response was so impressive, Amazon Studios already made the call to renew it for a second season.
“We are absolutely thrilled that the response to Transparent has been so positive,” said Roy Price, Vice President of Amazon Studios in a statement. “Our goal is to create series that customers love, so it’s great to hear that TRANSPARENT has not only risen to the no. 1 series on Prime Instant Video, but that it’s deemed ‘binge worthy’ as well. Given all this great feedback, it only makes sense to bring the Pfeffermans back next year in season two.”
According to Amazon (which doesn’t make streaming numbers available), “Prime members are finding it very hard to step away from all ten episodes of TRANSPARENT. Since its debut, TRANSPARENT is the most binge-watched TV series on Prime Instant Video with nearly 80 percent of all viewers binging on two or more episodes of the series in the same day. This makes TRANSPARENT’s binge-factor higher than any of the other Prime Instant Video binge leaders in the past.”
Season 2 of TRANSPARENT will bow sometime in 2015.

THE GOLDBERGS: Adam F. Goldberg and Wendi McLendon-Covey Tease the Royal Wedding-Inspired ‘The Facts of Bleeping Life’
October 8, 2014 by Marisa Roffman
THE GOLDBERGS is tackling one of the biggest moments of the ’80s in tonight’s brand new episode: the wedding between Prince Charles and Lady Di.
“That was a huge deal growing up,” THE GOLDBERGS creator Adam F. Goldberg acknowledged. “My mom waited up until 4 in the morning to watch it. I remember that. Her and her friends were obsessed with it. Every writer, when I told them to come up with ideas over hiatus, every one wrote, ‘How about a Royal Wedding/Princess Di episode?'”
And so, in tonight’s episode, the Royal Wedding inspires Bev and Murray to look at their own wedding, and debate the merits of renewing their vows.

Comments Off on ARROW: Marc Guggenheim Teases a New-Viewer Friendly Premiere, Oliver and Felicity’s Explosive First Date, and More
ARROW returns tonight for its third season, and while fans have been counting down for the show’s return, executive producer Marc Guggenheim told reporters that “The Calm” is accessible to new viewers, too.
“I kinda feel like this episode is a really good jumping on point for new viewers,” he said. “We sort of closed a chapter at the end of season 2 and this is a brand new opening, and I don’t really think there’s anything you really need to know coming into it. It’s pretty new-viewer friendly and that wasn’t necessarily by design. It just happened that way because of the story we were telling.”
One of the new things the show will be exploring in the premiere? Felicity and Oliver’s shift into a potentially romantic relationship.
