Comments Off on SALEM: WGN America Announces Season 2 Premiere Date, Releases First Look Photo
SALEM season 2 has a premiere date: Sunday, April 5th at 10 PM.
Per WGN American, the 13-episode season 2 “opens at the dawn of the witch war set into motion at the end of season one, with its catalyst and Salem’s deadliest witch, Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery, “Made in Jersey,” “Human Target”) at the center of the mayhem as she faces off against new and old adversaries vying for her throne. In the wake of the destruction caused by the Grand Rite, completed by Mary and inadvertently triggered by Isaac Walton (Iddo Goldberg, “Mob City”) in the season one finale, the fates of Captain John Alden (Shane West, “Nikita, “ER”), Cotton Mather (Seth Gabel, “Arrow,” “Fringe”), Tituba (Ashley Madekwe, “Revenge”), Anne Hale (Tamzin Merchant, “Jane Eyre”), Mercy Lewis (Elise Eberle, “The Astronaut Farmer”) and Isaac hang in the balance.
“New to the embattled 17th-century village for the second season of “Salem” are Lucy Lawless as Countess Marburg, one of the last descendants of a legendary line of ancient German witches; Stuart Townsend as Samuel Wainwright, a mysterious doctor looking to uncover the secrets of Salem as he keeps a few of his own; Joe Doyle (“Raw”) as Baron Sebastian Marburg, the charming and cultured son of the Countess; and Oliver Bell (“The Saint”) as Mary’s long-lost son, who was revealed in the season one finale to have been secretly kept alive all along by her coven.”

The Anonymous Caller/Adam pops back up in the February 3rd episode of FOREVER, and this time he’ll be around while Abe’s history is explored.
[It’s] a Nazi art heist episode,” FOREVER creator Matt Miller shared late last year. “That one will feature the anonymous caller, but because Abe was a survivor of the Holocaust, it brings up some old wounds for him. And maybe he starts to learn some things throughout the course of the episode about his family.”
Check out some photos from “Hilter on the Half-Shell”…
FOREVER
FOREVER - "Hitler on the Half-Shell" - Is Karl Haas a hero or a traitor and thief? When he ends up in the morgue, it starts an explosive chain of events with Henry and Jo racing to track -- not just a murderer -- but to solve a decades old notorious art crime. Karl's son, Erik, who is an art dealer, inherited from his father priceless works of art stolen by the Nazi's during World War II. Meanwhile, Adam pays an unsuspecting Abe a furtive visit, and Henry's paternal instincts force a face-off with his nemesis. Flashbacks take Henry to 1814 where he is shocked to learn that his own father's shipping company was involved in illegal and immoral practices. Finally, Abe receives a priceless gift, on "Forever," TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
