A year ago, SLEEPY HOLLOW barreled through its first season finale with an early renewal at its back, dropping one bomb after another and leaving every character’s fate in the balance. This was a show that knew where it was going. A lot changes in a year. Even more changes in 234 years, but Abbie and Ichabod’s relationship doesn’t, and that’s why SLEEPY HOLLOW should be okay. CASTLE: David Amann Teases Death on ‘Mars,’ Castle’s Missing Time, Beckett Mythology, and More
February 20, 2015 by Marisa Roffman
CASTLE has (seemingly) said goodbye to its 3XK arc, and now it’s time for the team to get a little bit of a breather…to solve a murder on Mars.
No, the team isn’t going to space (though there are plenty of space/alien/sci-fi jokes in the hour), but the next episode, “The Wrong Stuff,” finds Castle, Beckett, and the team investigating the death of an astronaut who was training for a potential mission to Mars. (It’s as hilarious as you might expect.)
And while there are some lighter hours ahead, the show will also touch back on the mystery of Castle’s wedding day disappearance and subsequent missing months, and Beckett will try to figure out what’s next in her life.
I spoke with CASTLE boss David Amann about those things, and more…

THE FOLLOWING is shifting its focus from the Ryan Hardy/Joe Carroll cat-and-mouse game to a more Ryan-centric show in its third season.
With the loss of Joe and his followers as the season’s central Big Bad, the show is bringing in new new faces to stir up trouble. ALMOST HUMAN’s Michael Ealy will appear this season as Theo, whom the producers teased “can be different people in different lives, and it allows him to be anything he wants to be.” And kicking off the season, there is a new couple causing mayhem for Ryan and the FBI.

SLEEPY HOLLOW: Tom Mison Previews the ‘Brilliant’ Finale, a ‘Very Different’ Ichabod

Comments Off on SLEEPY HOLLOW: Tom Mison Previews the ‘Brilliant’ Finale, a ‘Very Different’ Ichabod
SLEEPY HOLLOW — which had one of the best/most deliciously twisty season finales with last year’s “Bad Blood” — has set up quite the season-ender for its sophomore year: fresh off Henry’s death, a heartbroken (and very angry) Katrina cast a spell allowing her to return to 1781 via a portal, and she intends to rewrite the past and let Ichabod die…in the hopes that she’d be able to raise her son. Unfortunately for Katrina, Abbie’s attempt to stop her led to Abbie going back into 1781 (and where she promptly landed in jail, because she didn’t have her papers which acknowledged her freedom).
And while time travel elements were a part of SLEEPY HOLLOW’s DNA from the start (after all, Ichabod was from the past, and woke up in 2013), star Tom Mison (Ichabod) admittedly he had his hesitations initially when he heard about two characters going back in time for the season finale — until he heard what the plan was.

Hey, BACKSTROM fans! How did you like this darker episode, “Bogeyman”? I have to say it is my favorite of the series so far. I thought the case was interesting, and each character was used appropriately, even if some of those ways were unexpected. There’s a lot to discuss, so let’s get it on!
