On the Set of MAN SEEKING WOMAN: Jay Baruchel, Eric André, and Dan Mirk Tease ‘Branzino’

MAN SEEKING WOMAN’s Josh jumps into another relationship in tonight’s new episode, “Branzino,” and he becomes convinced Rachel is “the one.” So, naturally, Josh takes her home for a unique “meet the parents” night.

“He introduces his new girlfriend to his mom,” MAN SEEKING WOMAN writer Dan Mirk told reporters on the series’ Toronto set. (Mirk wrote “Branzino.”) “And they have to go on [a talk show] called LATE NIGHT WITH MOM. It’s a late night talk show hosted by his mom.”

And after Rachel passes the family test, the new couple takes a drastic step: they become surgically conjoined.

“This episode is a bit of a love letter to what happens when two people are too eager to get together,” MAN SEEKING WOMAN star Jay Baruchel explained. “So instead of moving in too quickly, we get surgically conjoined. When you’re sad, lonely, and desperate, the first person who pays attention — that’s it, right? And obviously, you realize shortly there after it isn’t. So we’re doing that.”

As Josh and Rachel’s relationship evolves,  Mike’s bro antics get a little bit crazy.

“I had my first nude scene,” Eric André (Mike) laughed. “I had to wear a flesh-colored coin purse to cover my junk. I felt very liberated…[in the scene] I smoked a bunch of weed and then pooped on [Josh]’s bed, and then passed out naked.”

Yep, just another delightfully insane episode of MAN SEEKING WOMAN.
