Comments Off on IZOMBIE: Rose McIver Previews the New CW Series
The CW’s newest show, IZOMBIE, launches tonight, and while the network is no stranger to supernatural beings (or hunters) the central character, Liv, is — as the title suggests — a zombie. And though Liv eats brains, she uses her feeding habits for a good cause: she gets her brains at the morgue where she works, and, as a side effect, gets memories from the dead…which help her solve their murders. (The series is also loosely based on a DC graphic novel series.)
Rose McIver (Liv), IZOMBIE’s lead, has also been a familiar presence on television, appearing most recently on ONCE UPON A TIME and MASTERS OF SEX.
On the IZOMBIE Vancouver set, McIver spoke with reporters about her new series…

Comments Off on THE FOLLOWING Exclusive Clip: Ryan Has a Public Warning for Mark
THE FOLLOWING is brand new tonight, and after Mark and his followers were responsible for Clarke’s death last week, Ryan is fighting back.
In this exclusive clip from “Exposed,” during a press conference Ryan warns that Mark Grey is “a delusional coward” (ouch) and a “malicious killer.” (To be fair…the last part is accurate.)
Mark, naturally, is not pleased to see that Ryan and the FBI won’t own up to the truth. And while Daisy and Kyle try to placate him, they have their own reasons to keep him from totally losing it.
Check out the clip now!
ARROW: Marc Guggenheim Teases More of Andy Diggle, Fallout From Oliver’s Decision

Comments Off on ARROW: Marc Guggenheim Teases More of Andy Diggle, Fallout From Oliver’s Decision
ARROW fans have heard about John Diggle’s deceased brother, Andy, since season 1, but they only saw him in the flesh (via a flashback) during the recent hour, “The Return.” But that won’t be the last we’ll see of him.
Before the PaleyFest panel honoring The CW series, ARROW executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased they had plans beyond a brief appearance for Eugene Byrd (Andy).
“[In that episode] you are seeing Andy for the first time after seeing him first be mentioned in 1×03,” Guggenheim teases in the video below. “We had mentioned in 2×06 that Andy was killed by Deadshot, on behalf of an organization called H.I.V.E. So we’re slowly doling out, in the tiniest little ways…these little pieces of an ongoing mystery that we will ultimately get to. [Byrd] was not cast at random, we will be doing more flashbacks — he was cast with the understanding that we wanted him to return, because we have to tell that story. We have to tell the story of why did H.I.V.E. want this man, Andy Diggle, killed? It’s going to be an interesting question.”
Check out what else Gugguenheim had to tease, including Team Arrow’s response to Ra’s’ proposition…

Comments Off on PaleyFest 2015: JANE THE VIRGIN’s Cast and Creator Tease ‘Chapter Sixteen’
JANE THE VIRGIN left a lot of relationships in flux with the last episode: Jane turned down Rafael’s proposal, Xo and Rogelio decided to move in together; Petra and Rafael settled into a business partnership, while Jane and Michael rekindled their friendship.
So what comes next? The cast and creator teased a bit of what’s in store for “Chapter Sixteen” — including a new Michael/Rogelio bromance — before this week’s PaleyFest panel honoring the series…

Comments Off on THE FLASH: Tom Cavanagh on Putting on Reverse Flash’s Suit
We’ve seen a fair bit of Reverse Flash during THE FLASH’s first season, but very often, it’s been a blur — snippets here and there, more often than not, in the midst of a fight.
But thanks to The CW, during the hiatus, we got a full look at the Reverse Flash suit (pictured to the left)…and much like the other suits in THE FLASH/ARROW universe, it’s awesome.
Before this weekend’s PaleyFest panel honoring THE FLASH, I spoke with Tom Cavanagh (Dr. Wells) about wearing the suit…

Comments Off on PaleyFest 2015: GLEE’s Darren Criss and Lea Michele Preview a Special Series Finale Song
We’re less than a week away from GLEE’s two-hour series finale, and there will be a special final song for series star Lea Michele (Rachel): “This Time,” a tune penned for her/her character by co-star Darren Criss (Blaine).
“My main thing was to write this song for Lea, because any songwriter would be lucky to have Lea Michele sing their song,” Criss shared during Friday night’s PaleyFest panel honoring the series. “I basically wrote a love note to the entire experience…It’s a tough thing, but I tried to encapsulate how I felt about the show, how the characters would feel about the show, how the actors themselves feel in real-life about the show. I wrote it for everyone here, who has been experiencing it for all this time.”

THE FOLLOWING’s core characters suffered a trauma in the last episode, and now they must move on…though the weight of what happened will linger.
“I think it has a profound effect on them; definitely in the short term,” THE FOLLOWING co-showrunner Alexi Hawley recently shared. “It’s such a blow: this was a character they cared about, and he was killed in such a horrific way. But also that it was tied in, fairly or unfairly, to actions they took at the end of last season puts some of the onus on them. They’re not responsible for his death, but what they’re being accused of is not necessarily false.”
