SCANDAL’s Fitz and Mellie have shifted to a new place in their relationship: after years of Mellie supporting Fitz’s political aspirations (whether he wanted her help, or not), they’ve now set the groundwork for her to start down the path of her own presidency.
First up? They found a VP candidate who appears to be unelectable to go further, politically.
As for what comes next, Tony Goldwyn (Fitz) and Bellamy Young (Mellie) shared a few teases with reporters before the show’s PaleyFest panel…

Comments Off on MAN SEEKING WOMAN: Simon Rich Teases the Format-Tweaking ‘Teacup,’ Season 1 Finale, and Season 2
MAN SEEKING WOMAN is exploring a different element of the dating experience in tonight’s brand new episode: after Liz and Leo split, she’s forced to navigate the modern dating scene…and deals with similar situations to what her brother, Josh, went through when the series started.
“Most of the credit goes to our writer, Sofia Alvarez, who really…had to create a brand new show,” Simon Rich shared about “Teacup.” “She really knocked it out of the park. I’m thrilled at the work she did. And Britt [Lower (Liz)], also, completely nailed it, and did a great job at taking over for Jay [Baruchel (Josh)] as the star this week.”
I spoke with Rich about changing the show up (for one episode), next week’s season finale, and what’s in store for the already-ordered season 2…

PlayStation is debuting its first original series today: POWERS — based on the comic book series with the same name — follows detectives who deal with different kinds of crimes…those committed by people with superhero abilities. One of the detectives, Christian Walker (played by Sharlto Copley), has a unique insight into the process: he used to be a superhero, Diamond, before he lost his powers in a fight.

MAN SEEKING WOMAN is shaking things up.
The FXX comedy — which is already delightfully bizarre as it follows Josh (Jay Baruchel) on his quest to find love — is switching perspectives for an episode: the March 11th installment, “Teacup,” follows Liz (Britt Lower) as she deals with her breakup from Leo (Ennis Esmer), and sets out on her own quest to find love.
Naturally, things don’t go well. In fact, she finds herself in many situations similar to what Josh went through after his breakup with Maggie (Maya Erskine). And in the exclusive clip below, you can watch Liz and Leo part ways…and Liz finds the weather is following her around.
