Comments Off on Len Wiseman on Whether He’ll Be Directing More SLEEPY HOLLOW and LUCIFER
Len Wiseman has spent much of his career in the movie world, but more recently, his fingerprints could be felt over TV.
After co-creating the Fox drama, SLEEPY HOLLOW (and directing that impressive pilot), Wiseman has stayed hands-on with the show, including directing some key scenes during the show’s run, thus far.
But Wiseman’s schedule is getting even more crowded. In addition to adding another show to his plate (the new midseason series, LUCIFER, whose pilot Wiseman also directed), he’ll also be busy with the newest UNDERWORLD film that’s set to film soon.
So will Wiseman be able to direct anything new for either SLEEPY HOLLOW or LUCIFER in the foreseeable future? He spoke with reporters about that at Comic-Con…

Comments Off on HEROES REBORN Mystery: Who is Dylan Bruce Playing?
With HEROES REBORN just a few months away, NBC has been good about showcasing trailers, teases, etc., to give little previews about what’s to come in the event series.
But there is still one thing that is being kept top-secret: Dylan Bruce’s character.
When his appearance on the show was first announced, nothing was said about who he would be playing. And while Bruce did press for the show at Comic-Con, he shared he couldn’t even say his character’s name.
So who the heck is this guy Bruce is playing? He and HEROES creator Tim Kring offered a few teases…

Echo Kellum is taking a turn for the dramatic.
Kellum — who starred in SEAN SAVES THE WORLD and the ridiculously underrated BEN AND KATE — will recur on ARROW’s fourth season as Curtis Holt, AKA Mr. Terrific, a rep for the show has confirmed.
ARROW producers first teased the character would be popping up at last week’s Comic-Con panel.
“He’s going to work with Felicity,” executive producer Greg Berlanti said at the time. He also shared that ARROW’s version of Mr. Terrific will be gay.
EW.com was first to report Kellum’s casting.

The two shows — which aired together on Mondays in SLEEPY’s first/BONES’ ninth season, and will reunite this fall on Thursdays — are gearing up to air a crossover event at some point in the 2015-2016 season, EW reports. (Reps for the shows have yet to comment on the reports.)

ARROW season 4 is making a few big changes.
In addition to Oliver Queen’s new Green Arrow costume (which made its debut at Comic-Con over the weekend), the show has also added Neal McDonough as Damien Darhk.
“Oliver knows precious little about Damien Darhk,” ARROW star Stephen Amell told reporters, in the video below. “I don’t even know if he understands when Ra’s referred to a ‘H.I.V.E. of operatives’ that he meant an actual H.I.V.E.; that’s Diggle knowledge, that’s not Oliver knowledge. [But] Damien brings elements to Starling City that…I think will help fuel our flashback story this year with Oliver.”

Jeffrey Dean Morgan is keeping busy.
On top of landing a series regular role in the current second season of EXTANT, Morgan also landed a series regular gig on the upcoming seventh season of THE GOOD WIFE.
But though his role on TGW won’t impact EXTANT season 2 (EXTANT wrapped filming a few weeks ago), if EXTANT gets a third season, Morgan’s ability to return might be in question thanks to his commitment to THE GOOD WIFE.
At Comic-Con, EXTANT producers Mickey Fisher and Craig Shapiro talked with reporters about Morgan’s future with the CBS drama…
CASTLE Adds Sunkrish Bala in Recurring Role

CASTLE has added another new face to season 8.
A little over a week after Toks Olagundoye joined the ABC drama as a new series regular, a rep has confirmed that Sunkrish Bala (NOTES FROM THE UNDERBELLY, THE WALKING DEAD) will recur next season.
According to EW.com, Bala will play Vikram Singh, “a high-strung tech analyst with a complicated past.” (Update: A rep has confirmed Bala will make his CASTLE debut in the season 8 premiere.)
CASTLE season 8 has already undergone a sizable shift. Former series regular Penny Johnson Jerald (Gates) announced in late May she had been let go; season 7 showrunner David Amann exited (as did CASTLE creator Andrew Marlowe and executive producer Terri Edda Miller), while longtime CASTLE writer Terence Paul Winter and THE FOLLOWING showrunner/former CASTLE writer Alexi Hawley were tapped to run season 8. (CASTLE leading lady, Stana Katic, however, did sign on to stay with the series post-renewal.)

SLEEPY HOLLOW Season 3 Adds Nikki Reed
July 15, 2015 by Marisa Roffman
SLEEPY HOLLOW has added a new series regular to the mix: Nikki Reed.
A rep for the show has confirmed that Reed will play Betsy Ross, Ichabod’s ex — and Ross is most famously known for being credited with sewing the first American flag.
The addition of Reed comes at a key time for SLEEPY HOLLOW. The show lost showrunner Mark Goffman between seasons (Clifton Campbell was named as his replacement.) And on-screen, Katia Winter’s Katrina and John Noble’s Henry were killed off at the end of season 2, while Orlando Jones (Irving) opted to exit the show.
The Hollywood Reporter first broke Reed’s casting.

PERSON OF INTEREST Producers, Stars on Why a Shorter Season 5 Could Be a Good Thing

Comments Off on PERSON OF INTEREST Producers, Stars on Why a Shorter Season 5 Could Be a Good Thing
PERSON OF INTEREST is in an unusual situation as it gears up for its upcoming fifth season: not only is the series being held until midseason, but its episode order count has been reduced from the normal 22/23 installments per year to, reportedly, 13 episodes.
At the show’s Comic-Con panel, POI creator Jonathan Nolan acknowledged they don’t know if the upcoming season will be the end, but “we’re very proud of the show…[and] if it’s the last season, no one is going to be disappointed with the story we tell.”
Before the panel, PERSON OF INTEREST star Jim Caviezel (Reese) shared he’s just focused on making the best show possible.
“We are where we are because every damn episode is so damn good,” he explained in the video below. “We don’t think about out there. We stay right here in the moment, today.”
Check out what else Caviezel, Nolan, and Michael Emerson (Finch) had to say about the shorter season, as well as co-showrunner Greg Plageman’s take on why this could actually be a good thing…
