Arnold Schwarzenegger has been named the new host of THE CELEBRITY APPRENTICE.

“I have always been a huge fan of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ and the way it showcases the challenges and triumphs of business and teamwork,” Schwarzenegger said in a statement. “I am thrilled to bring my experience to the boardroom and to continue to raise millions for charity.  Let’s get started!”

RED OAKS: Amazon Releases Season 1 Trailer

With Amazon’s new comedy, RED OAKS, less than a month from its full season launch, the streaming service has released a trailer for the first year. (You can watch the pilot for RED OAKS now, as well.)

Per Amazon, “RED OAKS stars Craig Roberts (SUBMARINE) as “David Myers,” an assistant tennis pro at the Red Oaks Country Club in suburban New Jersey in 1985, who is both reeling from his father’s heart attack and conflicted about what major to declare in the fall. While there, he meets a colorful cast of misfit co-workers and wealthy club members including an alluring art student named “Skye” (played by guest star Alexandra Socha) and her corporate raider father “Getty” played by Paul Reiser (MAD ABOUT YOU). A coming-of-age comedy set in the “go-go” 80s that is equal parts hijinks and heartfelt, Red Oaks is about enjoying a last hurrah before summer comes to an end—and the future begins. Red Oaks also stars Jennifer Grey (IT’S LIKE, YOU KNOW) as “Judy Myers,” Richard Kind (LUCK) as “Sam Myers,” Oliver Cooper (CALIFORNICATION) as “Wheeler,” Gage Golightly as “Karen,” and Ennis Esmer as “Nash.” RED OAKS is written by Gregory Jacobs (THE KNICK) and Joe Gangemi (ELIZA GRAVES).”

Dancing With the Stars | 8pm on ABC

The premiere episode will kick off with the biggest number in DWTS history shot on Hollywood Boulevard. The night continues with each couple dancing a Cha Cha, Foxtrot, Salsa, Quickstep or Jive, vying for America’s vote for the first time. No couples will be eliminated on week 1, and they will all advance to week 2 of the competition.

Watch Fox’s EMPIRE Season 2 Premiere Event!

Fox is kicking off EMPIRE’s second season in style.

The musical smash will return to our televisions on Wednesday, September 23rd, but the network is throwing a huge premiere event tonight (Saturday, September 12th)…and you can watch what goes down!

Starting at 8 PM ET/5 PM PT, Fox will livestream the event (from Carnegie Hall in New York), which will feature a Q&A with Terrence Howard (Lucious), Taraji P. Henson (Cookie), Jussie Smollett (Jamal), Trai Byers (Andre), Bryshere Y. Gray (Hakeem), Grace Gealey (Anika), Kaitlin Doubleday (Rhonda), Gabourey Sidibe (Becky), Ta’Rhonda Jones (Porsha), Serayah McNeil (Tiana), co-creators Lee Daniels and Danny Strong, showrunner Ilene Chaiken, and executive producer Francie Calfo. And, of course, there will also be some performances in store.

James Corden Joins the Cast of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on THE LATE LATE SHOW

THE LATE LATE SHOW host James Corden got to live out a dream recently — he joined the cast of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA while the show was in Los Angeles for a show. But, unfortunately for Corden, he didn’t get to play the role of the Phantom like he hoped. (THE VOICE fans may recognize Chris Mann, the man playing the Phantom — he placed fourth on the second season of the NBC singing competition.) Instead, Corden played Fop 2. And Corden went all in.

Neil Patrick Harris Takes on the Actathalon Challenge On LATE NIGHT

There should be no doubt that Neil Patrick Harris is a very, very talented actor. But when Harris was on LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS, he was put through an insane kind of skills test: in the “actathalon,” Harris went through eight different scenes — including a rom-com meet-cute; a chase scene; a tearful goodbye to his son; and an actor promoting an absolutely terrible movie — in about five minutes.

Not only is the sequence funny to watch, but it’s also really impressive (and probably a good sign for Harris’ upcoming NBC variety series, BEST TIME EVER)…

HOW TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER Season 2 Trailer

HOW  TO GET AWAY WITH MURDER served up a double dose of shocks in the finale as the drama revealed what actually lead to Lila’s death (via flashbacks), while Rebecca was found dead in the present.

And even though the drama will reveal Rebecca’s killer in the second season premiere of HTGAWM, ABC teases in the new trailer that the whodunnit isn’t even the biggest shock of the hour. Hm…

THE X-FILES Will Debut First Episode of Upcoming Revival at New York Comic Con

THE X-FILES fans who scored tickets to the already-sold out New York Comic Con are in for a treat — Fox/20th Century Fox will debut the first hour of the upcoming X-FILES revival, “My Struggle,” at the Con on Saturday, October 10th.

After the screening (which will take place at the Javits Center Main Stage), there will be an THE X-FILES panel, featuring series creator Chris Carter and series star  David Duchovny. (The panel will be moderated by “The X-Files Files” podcaster/upcoming THE X-FILES guest star Kumail Nanjiani.)
