JANE THE VIRGIN: Watch the Cast Learn the Season Finale Twist

Think you were surprised by Brett Dier’s (Michael) unannounced appearance in the JANE THE VIRGIN season 4 finale? You weren’t alone.

After the shocking finale aired, CBS Television Studios released footage of the cast learning that Dier would be back—when he showed up at the end of their table read.

In the video below, JANE creator Jennie Snyder Urman stood by the door, waiting for series star Gina Rodriguez (Jane) to, unknowingly, tee up the reveal. When Dier stepped inside, Rodriguez and fellow stars Justin Baldoni (Rafael), Yael Grobglas (Petra), and Andrea Navedo (Xo) quickly rushed to their former colleague.
