Watch the WESTWORLD Season 2 Opening Credits

The WESTWORLD season 2 opening credits are here—and there are some intriguing changes from the season 1 opener.

While the freshman year’s sequence focused heavily on the western aspect of the HBO drama, the new take emphasizes key factors in what was (the white/black hat) and what’s ahead.

Of note, the host being created in this year’s credits is a mother, affectionately holding her baby. (Certainly a nod to Maeve’s quest to find her own child.) And with the android at the end of the sequence now being submerged in water, it feels like it was an early tip to the (spoiler alert) final moments of the premiere when Bernard and the Delos employees found the lake filled with hosts.
