Comments Off on THE LAST MAN ON EARTH: Tandy and Carol Attempt to Karaoke
Well, this isn’t exactly “Falling Slowly.”
In Sunday’s new episode of THE LAST MAN ON EARTH, Tandy (Will Forte) tries to get Carol (Kristen Schaal) to partake in a little bit of karaoke with him. (REO Speedwagon’s “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” naturally.)
Unfortunately, in the exclusive clip below, Carol isn’t as into things as Tandy’s brother Mike (Jason Sudeikis)—who is still adjusting back to life with other humans—was, much to Tandy’s chagrin. “That’s where you’re supposed to start,” Tandy tells his wife when she lets the words pass by without singing along.
“Oh. Sorry,” Carol replies. “I was just distracted by the beautiful word highlighting.” And when she gives it an official try, things go awry. (Yes, Carol is too pure for this world.)
Check out a clip of a very LAST MAN ON EARTH karaoke!

Comments Off on Nat Geo’s GENIUS to Highlight Mary Shelley in Season 3
GENIUS will focus on legendary author Mary Shelley for its third installment, National Geographic announced.
“Mary Shelley’s FRANKENSTEIN left an indelible mark on generations of imaginations,” said Carolyn Bernstein, executive vice president, global development and production for National Geographic Global Networks in a statement. “Equally inspiring is the story of Shelley’s relentless innovation, coupled with her desire to live on her own unconventional terms despite immense societal and cultural obstacles. I can’t wait for our talented team to bring her remarkable, relevant and timely story to life for season three of GENIUS and do justice to her literary legacy.”
“Mary Shelley has inspired countless filmmakers with her tale of the wretch brought to life by science gone wrong, but very few have fully captured her insightful reflections on society in the myth she left behind,” continued executive producer Ron Howard. “Few know of her struggles due to gender inequities, her additional writings, her influence on other historically significant individuals and society at large. Showcasing someone like Mary Shelley and her amazing intellect, compassion and fortitude is exactly what this series is for, and we are looking forward to continuing our successful partnership with National Geographic and Fox 21 Television Studios.” Read more

Comments Off on MOM: Mimi Kennedy and Gemma Baker Preview Marjorie’s Breakdown
MOM’s Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy) has a breakdown in this week’s new episode of the CBS comedy.
“Marjorie is facing into what it is to be older,” Kennedy previews in the video below. “And as a woman, [being older means becoming] invisible…letting go of anything that has to do with our identity, that’s always a crisis.”
The tailspin has widespread fallout for the recovery group, who have become used to depending on Marjorie for everything. “It is one of my favorites we’ve ever done,” MOM co-creator Gemma Baker teases in the video below. “We’ve never seen Marjorie in this light.”
Though Marjorie has been put through the wringer in the past (cancer, her husband’s stroke, the group’s general mayhem), this storyline was one Kennedy had hoped they would explore. “I was so grateful they wrote that,” she gushes.
