Fox Cancels THE LAST MAN ON EARTH, BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, and THE MICK

Fox has canceled BROOKLYN NINE-NINE, THE LAST MAN ON EARTH, and THE MICK, Give Me My Remote has confirmed.

LAST MAN ON EARTH co-star January Jones first broke the cancellation news for her series on Instagram, as she thanked the LAST MAN family for the past four seasons.

 

To our @lastmanfox family..it’s been an amazing 4yrs, thank you for all the hard work, we love you and will miss seeing you every day! And thank you to our fans who loved and laughed at these ridiculous and lovably flawed characters. @orviv your brain is a national(global?),treasure ❤️

The series, which starred/was created by Will Forte, followed a group of survivors in a post-apocalypse world. LAST MAN ON EARTH co-starred Kristen Schaal, Jones, Mel Rodriguez, Cleopatra Coleman, and Mary Steenburgen.

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE had a big year, as the series celebrated its milestone 100th episode. The extraordinary series about cops who worked in Brooklyn’s 99th precinct starred Andy Samberg, Andre Braugher, Terry Crews, Melissa Fumero, Joe Lo Truglio, Stephanie Beatriz, Chelsea Peretti, Joel McKinnon Miller, and Dirk Blocker. (Update: NBC saved BROOKLYN NINE-NINE.)

THE MICK completed its second season in April. The series starred Kaitlin Olson as Mickey, a woman who is reluctantly raising her niece and nephews. The show co-starred Sofia Black-D’Elia, Thomas Barbusca, Jack Stanton, Carla Jimenez, and Scott MacArthur.
