AMC continued its run of VISIONARIES: JAMES CAMERON’S STORY OF SCIENCE FICTION, with a deep dive into monsters.

TAKE TWO: ABC Sets June Premiere Date For CASTLE Creators’ New Drama

What happens when a television star uses the skills she learned on-set in the real world? In ABC’s new drama, TAKE TWO (from CASTLE creators Terri Edda Miller and Andrew Marlowe), a disgraced actress (Rachel Bilson) teams up with a PI (Eddie Cibrian) as research for a new role. But, naturally, the duo work well together, and she may end up shadowing him longer than planned.

Sound intriguing? You won’t have to wait long to watch it! ABC announced the TAKE TWO premiere will air Thursday, June 21 at 10/9c.

Fox Boss on the BROOKLYN NINE-NINE Cancellation

In the aftermath of the pre-Upfronts cancellation bloodbath, one semi-unexpected cut seemed to sting particularly deep: Fox’s cancellation of BROOKLYN NINE-NINE. Celebrities from Lin-Manuel Miranda to Mark Hamill tweeted their support as NBC was quietly working out a deal to save the series. Read more

Fox Sets 2018-2019 Schedule

Fox’s 2018-2019 lineup is going to look very different than the current season.

In addition to Thursday nights being solely devoted to football, no returning Fox live-action comedy has made the fall schedule. (Though ABC transplant LAST MAN STANDING will be paired with THE COOL KIDS for the network’s new Friday comedy block.)

The drama lineup is a bit more stable, as the network is only airing returning shows in the fall—albeit with a new co-lead in LETHAL WEAPON. (THE PASSAGE and PROVEN INNOCENT will bow in 2019; GOTHAM and THE ORVILLE will also air midseason.)

Fox Renews LETHAL WEAPON, With Seann William Scott Joining as Co-Lead

LETHAL WEAPON will return to Fox for a third season—with a major shakeup.

Fox confirms that Seann William Scott will join the cast as a new co-lead of the drama. (Series star Clayne Crawford has been let go after allegedly causing disruptions on the set.) Per Fox, Scott will play “a new character who folds into a partnership with Murtaugh ([Damon] Wayans).”
