NBC Cancels CHAMPIONS
June 29, 2018 by Marisa Roffman
NBC has opted to not move forward with a second season of CHAMPIONS.
The series—which was executive produced by Mindy Kaling—ended its first season on May 25, but no official decision was made about its future when NBC made its calls for the 2018-2019 season. Per The Hollywood Reporter, producers are shopping the show elsewhere.
CHAMPIONS starred Anders Holm, Andy Favreau, J.J. Totah, Fortune Feimster, and Mouzam Makkar.
