Netflix Renews ALTERED CARBON

ALTERED CARBON will return for a second season, Netflix announced.

Additionally, Anthony Mackie has joined the cast as the new star of the series, The Hollywood Reporter reports. (He’ll play Takeshi Kovacs, replacing Joel Kinnaman who portrayed the character in season 1.)

The Netflix series is inspired by the Richard K. Morgan book series. In the futuristic series, the character of Takeshi Kovacs’ consciousness is hosted in various bodies.

A return date and episode count for season 2 of ALTERED CARBON have yet to be announced.
