FRIENDS, Rita Moreno Honored by the TCA Awards

While most of the 2018 TCA Awards will be announced on Saturday, August 4th, two big winners have been revealed early.
Rita Moreno, who is currently starring on ONE DAY AT A TIME, has been chosen as the recipient of the 2018 Career Achievement Award honoree. (Moreno, who also has an EGOT to her name, has also appeared on OZ, WHERE ON EARTH IS CARMEN SAN DIEGO, and JANE THE VIRGIN.)
Additionally, FRIENDS has been named the winner of the Heritage Award. The series, which ran from 1994-2004, starred Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer. Executive producers David Crane, Marta Kauffman, and Kevin Bright will accept the award on behalf of the series.
