Comments Off on TRIAL & ERROR: Kristin Chenoweth on Joining the NBC Comedy

For new TRIAL & ERROR star Kristin Chenoweth, her new role of Lavinia Peck-Foster was love at first read.

“I read the description of the role, and then I found out what the show was,” Chenoweth told reporters of being drawn to the comedy. “And then I read the first three episodes. I was like, ‘Don’t tell them, but nobody but nobody else is doing this part but me.”

Chenoweth, who has boasted scene-stealing television roles in PUSHING DAISIES, GLEE, and GCB, counts this as “probably one of the best parts I’ve ever been given.” In addition to the on-screen fun, “I’m with people who are like me,” she enthused. “These comedians are true actors.”

In “Death Becomes Him,” Dever plays a seemingly terminally ill man who has second thoughts after he hires a hit man to take him out. But he needs Eddie (Eddie Cibrian) and Sam’s (Rachel Bilson) help, because the hit man isn’t the only one after him.

Check out some photos of Dever in the episode!

Comments Off on STRANGER THINGS Season 3 Teaser: Steve and Maya Hawke’s Robin Welcome Visitors to Hawkins’ New Mall

After STRANGER THINGS’ Hawkins, Indiana survived the Demogorgons, they’re due for some good news. Enter The Starcourt Mall!

In a new 80s-appropriate teaser, the video boasts the new mall has a Claire’s, Sam Goody, and The Gap. But Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream gets an extra bit of love in the promo: Steve (Joe Keery) is working there with Robin (STRANGER THINGS newbie Maya Hawke).

The video may also hint at when the third season of the drama returns. While the first season dropped in July, the sophomore year had an October bow. Though nothing official has been said—and there’s been no hint of a release date—the Starcourt Mall promo says it’s “coming next summer.” Hmmm…

Comments Off on TAKE TWO: Terri Edda Miller Previews ‘Ex’s and Oh’s’

Eddie (Eddie Cibrian) and Sam’s (Rachel Bilson) latest case is highly personal: Sam’s former fiancé Dylan (Greyston Holt)—who publicly dumped her—asks the duo to help him recover an important asset. (Something Sam herself has a stake in.)

“It’s one of my favorite episodes,” TAKE TWO co-creator Terri Edda Miller teases. “It just brings so much depth to Sam’s character that we haven’t seen before. [Plus,] it gives you a preview of how Eddie is starting to look at her.”

“I think that it is the trajectory [viewers see of] where Sam ended—her show was canceled, and her fiancé dumped her on the red carpet—and how is she going to behave [now]? How is she going to react to that? And how are she and Eddie going to deal with each other with this third person in the picture?”

Check out some photos from the hour, “Ex’s and Oh’s”!
